William Farrer Hotel

Room smell when went in,no spoons for coffee supplyied,now water when in shower when someone flushes toilet in another room, bed saggs to the middle,only 2 tv channels which was sprort and keno,location was great

The room was clean and i wont be staying there again

Convenient location. Morning staff are noisy.

Shared toilet and shower where not only small to where I could hardly sit on the toilet but the lights would go off while showering the bed was like laying on just the springs,and the room was dirty. Probably one of the worst places I’ve stayed in and it wasn’t even that great of price

The first room was not made up the mattress had a heap of stains

The room was clean and tidy and fairly modern

Good for one night. Room ok. Shared bathroom badly needs upgrade. Light is on a timer so left in the shower in darkness even though it was not a long shower. Toilet cubicles small and difficult to get in and out of. Room was warm and beds and linen clean.
Dining room and bar very nice. Would be an A class hotel if rooms and bathroom were done up.

We were very happy with our stay but would have liked and extra towel.

The hotel/bars/dining itself is very good, however the accommodation was terrible. Peeling paint, threadbare carpets, clean sheets but a stained blanket. No tv, no crockery (even though there were teabags, coffee and a kettle!), and the unisex bathroom was obviously designed for skinny males. I discovered the female bathroom around the corridor, which was marginally better. For $10 more, I have booked a different hotel for my return journey, which has all the necessary amenities in it. Disappointed.

Would not stay again

The location is perfect in walking distance to train station and restaurants.
The hotels bar in really good as well.
The rooms are not in good condition and not hygiene.

We stayed in a three single bed room.
With a shared bathroom.
We arrived early and were told that we could not book in till after 2:00 p.m. fair enough maybe they were cleaning the rooms.
The room was clean . The shared bathroom was dirty with dirty toilets and dirty floor we complained and asked for them to be cleaned which they did get somebody to come and clean. But after waiting for two hours to check in I would expect that the bathrooms would have been cleaned this was unacceptable after all there was only us that was staying there besides somebody else in another area which had an ensuite. 88 dollars a night fair enough you get what you pay for this could be a really nice place if it was cleaned up have spent too much money renovating downstairs need to lower the price for the upstairs area.

Room was dated as paint was coming off ceiling.
Bed mattress seems to be very old, very soft.
Bathroom was very squeezy getting into toilet.

The room was dirty with cobwebs and no cups
