Pros:

Staff were kind and the view was great

Cons:

The apartments are old and bathrooms are in urgent need of renovation. Didn’t want to bath my children in a mouldy bath.
The ceiling in the ensuite was mouldy.
No batteries in the remotes Or the safe so couldn’t use it.
No vacuum cleaner so couldn’t keep the floors clean.
Very basic equipment and the exact amount of towels so be prepared to wash them and dry them quickly.
Both my children suffered from allergic reactions on their skin from the sheets or carpets.
There was constant construction noise from the building in front and above us.
One day they sent people to clean the bathroom vents in all the apartments and they made terrible mess and dirt everywhere and half effort to clean the mess.
Won’t go back !

Grouse place to stay when on the Gold Coast
Pros:

Apartment is getting a little worse for wear.. Several large stains on carpet, visible poor repairs to plaster, rough silicone caulking in bathroom.. Of course the building works gradually blocking the view sucks + the constant banging of hammers etc isn't what you want to hear on holidays.. You have not lost my business i like 2nd Avenue apartments + i will be back again soon.. Cheers and thanks for your hospitality !!!

We had great family time and the place was nice.
Pros:

The location was great. We were on the 12th floor and had sea views. Parking was secure. The general areas used by all residents were well maintained and the lady on reception was very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

We enjoyed our stay. The inside swimming pool was not heated enough so we did not swim.
The actual apartment we stayed in was tired. It could really do with a make over.

The location, parking and foyer and all is great

Cons:

The rooms are aged and have some damage but it is an older building. Some plates were chipped and there was some leaking pipes and a few lightbulbs. Also some dust on the ceiling and around the room. Furniture was aged and could do with a freshen up.
