Pros:

Great location. Constructon was a little noisy. All in all it was a lovely stay.

Cons:

The cleanliness of the floors could have been better. We found false nails on the floor; empty lolly wraps in the bedside table draw. A used towel was hanging in the bathroom behind the door.
The plate in the microwave was dirty. Other than that, all was good.

Had a great stay. Loved every minute.
Pros:

The apartments were modern, spacious and clean. Far enough away from Burleigh centre, but close enough to walk everywhere.

We really loved the pool and the location, but the construction surrounding the building was a little too much
Pros:

Great location!

Cons:

Tons of loud construction happening on either side of the building due to new apartments being built. There was also road works on the back side of the building where a new tram system was being built. Lots of noise, tar smells, etc. Also, to young families: the balcony was a bit of a hazard for small children as they can easily climb it or slip through the bars. Glass tables were inside as well. I didn’t want to give a bad rating due to this, but at this point in time I wouldn’t recommend parents with little kids to stay (due to noise and safety)

A little bit disappointing this time
Pros:

The size of the apartment is very good

Cons:

We were a little disappointed this time. We have stayed several times previously at 2nd Ave apartments. The last 3 times we were on the 19th floor and were not too bothered by the construction noise and had a fantastic view all for what was a fair cost. This time our view was compromised by looking directly into the adjacent construction for what seemed like a much more expensive cost per night. The bathrooms are in dire need of refurbishment with water damage and mismatched facilities. The cleaning left a little bit to be desired with dirty finger marks around the light switches and spillage under the kitchen bin

great Apartment close to beach
Pros:

Location to beach was great, staff helpful and friendly. Apartment had not long been refurbished and had all facilities you needed.

Cons:

The 2nd bedroom need air con very hot even with fan on and curtains pulled.

Our second stay and despite the building works it was enjoyable.
Pros:

Location excellent. Apartment very well

Cons:

Apartment 8C was a great location however the kitchen facilities were inadequate. Eg no kitchen tongs, no egg flip. Only two tall glasses. It would have made our stay perfect if the kitchen was a bit better equipped.

The construction around there made it hard to get around but at least Management advised of this prior which was the right thing to do. We stayed there due to the location

Great stay in great location
Pros:

The location, amenities and staff were fabulous! We had a very pleasant stay there

Cons:

The room was not cleaned well at all. It was tidy but nothing had been wiped down and there was dirt everywhere. We paid $35 a night for a rollaway bed but when the linens were changed on the permanent beds, the rollaway bed was not touched and we never received a pillow for said bed.
