Customerservice- I thought the lady behind at reception could have been kinder at check in

Noise and level too low could see only a snippet of the ocean would of preferred to go higher

Beautiful and very convenient
Pros:

From the second you walk in the door you are wowed from the ocean view. Whether it be from the main bedroom, kitchen or back rooms everyone has an amazing view of the ocean or the mountains. We never got sick of it. The indoor pool, spa and steam room were great and we loved the tennis court. Didn't use the outside pool as the beach is beautiful and only across the road. We loved our stay and will return

Cons:

It definitely needs new cookware and utensils. The wine glasses need updating and they need to supply more washing liquid and powder. We were there for a week and were given one sachet

If you want to relax & enjoy yourself stay somewhere else.

The location to beach.

Cons:

What we booked didn’t have a building in the view & I had called apartment prior to booking to check the view in photos were correct. Room was very old, musty, dusty & dirty. Wear & tear with walls & carpets could be maintained much better. Not just the light rail but major building all around. We stayed in 8B

Great location. Constructon was a little noisy. All in all it was a lovely stay.

Cons:

The cleanliness of the floors could have been better. We found false nails on the floor; empty lolly wraps in the bedside table draw. A used towel was hanging in the bathroom behind the door.
The plate in the microwave was dirty. Other than that, all was good.

Had a great stay. Loved every minute.
Pros:

The apartments were modern, spacious and clean. Far enough away from Burleigh centre, but close enough to walk everywhere.

We really loved the pool and the location, but the construction surrounding the building was a little too much

Great location!

Cons:

Tons of loud construction happening on either side of the building due to new apartments being built. There was also road works on the back side of the building where a new tram system was being built. Lots of noise, tar smells, etc. Also, to young families: the balcony was a bit of a hazard for small children as they can easily climb it or slip through the bars. Glass tables were inside as well. I didn’t want to give a bad rating due to this, but at this point in time I wouldn’t recommend parents with little kids to stay (due to noise and safety)

The size of the apartment is very good

Cons:

We were a little disappointed this time. We have stayed several times previously at 2nd Ave apartments. The last 3 times we were on the 19th floor and were not too bothered by the construction noise and had a fantastic view all for what was a fair cost. This time our view was compromised by looking directly into the adjacent construction for what seemed like a much more expensive cost per night. The bathrooms are in dire need of refurbishment with water damage and mismatched facilities. The cleaning left a little bit to be desired with dirty finger marks around the light switches and spillage under the kitchen bin

great Apartment close to beach
Pros:

Location to beach was great, staff helpful and friendly. Apartment had not long been refurbished and had all facilities you needed.

Cons:

The 2nd bedroom need air con very hot even with fan on and curtains pulled.
