Location is great. Unaware of works happening at property until we had arrived.
Pros:

Location is great! Beds are very comfy, even the sofa bed.
Access to club is great too.

Cons:

We have stayed at The Executive Inn Newcastle a number of times before and have always enjoyed a good stay. This time around was below expectations. We were not aware of works happening at the property. One of the lifts was not working on arrival and then both lifts were not working on check out so it was busy in the stair well. The pools were also receiving some TLC. The spa and the smaller pool were out of action. Luckily the third pool was working but it was a busy afternoon.

Apart from above mentioned issues, all others are good.

Cons:

No Balcony, the room was close to the breakfast area and too noisy in the early morning when we wanted to have sleep late. The cutlery noise and people loud while passing by the main entrance to the breakfast.

Close to everything, friendly staff and clean!
Pros:

The staff at the front desk were lovely! We had a good laugh about me and my partner going for different teams in the football and then they gave us an Easter egg. I would go back just for the staff!

We couldn’t get the tv to work properly but it’s no big deal

The pool and location is amazing, the room was lovely

Cons:

1 and only elevator from bottom carpark was out of service no told us, then the only other elevator was out of service the next day ,VERY ONE HAD TO USE THE FIRE STAIRS, my sofa bed wasn't made didn't know till that night ,they delivered sheets ( I made it) that's ok, however the following day our room wasn't made up when we got back at 2.30pm had to chase people up , room made 1 hour later, you can only watch streaming of its cast to your phone 😢 no water in bottle water in rooms just sparkling, had to chase up water , very disappointing, iv been going to west for years
