The apartment was very comfortable and surprisingly spacious. The location was handy to food options. I very much enjoyed my stay. The staff were also very helpful. Good parking options and easy check-in and check-out.

Good location and good view. Quiet, clean and comfy - and huge! It was a shame the weather didn't play ball for us for exploring the area as it looked nice.

Cons:

Weird smell like a cheap Chinese hotel (trust me I have stayed in a few!). Might be one of the cleaning products that has a Formaldehyde smell.

Worth every cent! Can't wait to return.
Pros:

Loved everything about The Bay Apartments. Right opposite the beautiful coastline. The pool, sauna, gym, and tennis court were fantastic. Surrounding gardens lovely too. The 3 bedroom apartment with jacuzzi was gorgeous. It was a pleasure to stay at such a well designed and beautifully appointed apartment. The rooms were bright and airy with incredible views. The beds and pillows were supremely comfortable and the kitchen had absolutely everything one needed. WiFi worked well. Definitely worth paying the extra money to stay at this lovely place in Hervey Bay.

I was nice being on the bottom floor with children.

Cons:

It would have been better if the place had bike hire. We only found one place that was at the other end of town. It took us 2 taxi rides for bike pick up and drop off. Supermarkets were way too far for walking and carrying heavy parcels.

Second stay, we'll be back!
Pros:

This was our second stay. Our two bedroom apartment was very spacious with two bathrooms, including tub. The kitchen was very well equipped, with everything we could possibly need. Washer/ dryer was very useful after a couple of rainy days. Lots of crockery, glassware and cutlery as well as sharp knives. Beautiful view and in a fantastic location. Free parking in a secure garage and limited spots on the grounds. Lovely easy walk to Enzo's on the Esplanade which was amazing for food and drink options.

Cons:

We had issues with the oven which was a bit tricky. Turned out it was us who just couldn't work it out.

Pros:

The apartment was very spacious. Huge balcony! The view is spectacular. The apartment was very well-appointed with decent crockery and glassware, and all kitchen utensils and appliances were good quality. Easy walking distance to restaurants.

Overall, average stay. Due to hygiene issues and key issues, probably won't stay again.

We enjoyed the apartment itself and the layout. The aircon was also nice.

Cons:

I paid for a pool view, however they put me on ground floor with no pool view (pool access, yes but I paid extra for the view and did not get this). We also had dirty towels from previous guests still hung up in the second bathroom, this was a little off-putting. The door to get into our apartment was well worn out, difficult to open. We stayed 3 nights however there was no option discussed re linen change. The blankets stored in the cupboard were musky and had clear, visible stains. There was also no complimentary milks, like you'd find in most hotels. When i attempted to call the after hours number (when i couldn't get into my room) it was engaged.
