We had an excellent stay celebrating my partners birthday, and the swimming pool we used every day
Pros:

Very well located only about 100m from the surf club, and an easy 15minute walk to shops and restaurants.

Cons:

Remember to take the basics that you personally like for cooking etc. . I always like to take a sharp knife, dishwashing powder and dish liquid.

Spotlessly clean, secure parking, very quiet, host Louise was a delight

Cons:

No air conditioning in bedrooms, no mirrors in bedrooms, we were surprised to be supplied only 2 toilet paper rolls for 2people for 5 days, with a charge of $1per roll extra. Also extra cost for other incidentals which are supplied in all other places we’ve stayed. Felt very mean, especially considering the cost of the booking.

Fabulous accomodation in a gorgeous beachside town.
Pros:

Louise was such a fabulous host. Great with communication, offered us an early check-in, have us a great tour and introduction to the property and gave us some great tips for the area.
The apartment was nice and big, very clean and very comfortable. We only stayed one night but could have easily stayed a week. The pool and spa looked great (although we didn’t got in) and it was a very short walk across the road to the beach.
Pauanui is absolutely gorgeous. Wish we’d been able to spend more time there.

Beautiful location with extremely nice managers
Pros:

The town was a nice quiet retreat from some of the larger towns on the peninsula. The managers were extremely nice and helpful.

Cons:

The apartment we rented did not have a dresser in the bedroom so we were living out of our suitcases. The kitchen hen was adequately furnished but lacked any spices other than small packets of salt and pepper and there was no cooking oil. As owners of several rentals, we find it better to charge a couple more $ and have a well stocked facility

Fabulous break and very good value. Spacious modern and clean. Would definitely stay again
Pros:

Gorgeous apartment and pool - all squeeze clean and hotel standard sheets bedding. Pool is very warm and well kept. Great secure parking and the beach is right there.
