Fun stay in Newcastle; great value.
Pros:

Great location close to restaurants and waterfront precinct. Rooms very clean and well equipped. Very friendly service. Good pub next door with good food.

Cons:

Nothing at all.

We loved our stay at the Lucky. Very convenient location, great spaces and lovely cocktails at the bar.

Comfortable, good food, location. Would stay again.
Pros:

The location and the ambience are great. The courtyard is definitely the feature of the hotel.
I really enjoyed the food too.

Cons:

The room was really cold and it was a little difficult to figure out the room temp.
The Nashville hot chicken burger was very good, but too small and we were seated at a very small round table. Not enough space to fit everything and be comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Lucky Hotel.
Pros:

Large and comfortable room, friendly staff, comfortable bed and the location was great, being close to the beach and to numerous cafes and restaurants.

Cons:

The lights in the restaurant were on all night and our room window overlooked the restaurant. The blackout curtains in our room helped, but maybe the staff could just flick the light switches off when the restaurant closes. The lights were actually on all day and all night. The Lucky Hotel could save some money on their electricity bill (and pass the savings on to hotel guests ;) ) if the lights were turned off.

Pros:

Sehr hilfreiches und freundliches Personal. Das Hotel liegt direkt im Stadtzentrum, in der Nähe etlicher Restaurants und Bars. Der Strand ist 10min zu Fuss entfernt. Im dazugehörigen Restaurant und Bar läuft richtig etwas.

Cons:

Man hört Musik im Zimmer leise. Dies wird aber beschrieben und sie wird zu einer humanen Zeit ausgeschaltet.

Hotel parfait !
Pros:

Tout était parfait. Le resto est délicieux et les serveurs adorables. Le personnel d'accueil de l'hôtel était aussi parfait. La chambre était belle, propre et bien entretenue et la salle de bain était idéale.

The quirkiness of the hotel. Sadly didn't have enough time to enjoy what looked like a fun pub.
Loved the flamingos in the lift!

Cons:

No parking. With the help of staff we found the boatharbour carpark not too far away.

Lucky for some? Lucky for us..this place will put a smile on you face, and joy in your heart
Pros:

We loved this crazy little hotel! Every corner you looked there was something fabulous to catch your eye! Flamingoes int he lift, moneys in the coridoor, a reception desk that reminded be of harry potter for some reason?!? It was all just amazing. The wonderful receptionist from Sunderland (youll have to excuse me mate-totally forgotten your name) who was so welcoming and lovely was just the icing on the cake.
The bar was buzzing, but when we went upstairs, the rooms were quiet and peaceful. Lucky hotel was a lucky find, and i would definitly stay there again, if i ever found myself in newcastle again.

Cons:

I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this place. parking is a little tricky but we were only staying one night so we didnt worry about it too much
