The location was perfect so close to the beach and restaurants.

Cons:

The property was generally clean but could do with a deep clean like vacuum under beds etc the hallways could also do with a clean (gecko droppings on windowsill)

Nice location, but not up to sandard for a Gold Coast stay.
Pros:

The receptionist assisted with manageress to the carpark and apartment. There was Ni lift and 3 flights of stairs to get our luggage up, which for seniors was difficult.

Cons:

The apartment had no lift access, the building was old, the apartment smelled, the bed was small, there was no soap or other amenities in the bathroom, we had to remove all rubbish ourselves on demand there were dead cockcroaches inside the apartment, as well as dust and rodent poo on windowsills, especially in the stairwells. We were glad to leave after our one night stay.

Comfortable and convenient
Pros:

Close enough to where I was working as a volunteer.
The range of food options just around the corner was awesome.
Property manager was friendly.

Cons:

No shampoo/conditioner provided.
Air con remote had no battery cover.
Shower gripped and couldn’t turn taps off any more.
There were minimal/no shelves in the bedroom to place/unpack bags.1 chair. A set of drawers and/or shelf inside the large built in wardrobe would have been useful.

Will most definitely be back. Great value for money!
Pros:

Everything was fantastic but me and my kids favourite was most definitely the pool and spa. Everything was clean and tidy and really friendly staff. Close to shops and transport, beach and much more. Will definitely be back.

Nothing to complain about.

Cheap place to stash you gear and crash overnight that’s not a hostel.
Pros:

The location and price was good

Cons:

The property very old and run down and had not been generally cleaned for some time i.e. lots of dust and general carpet litter. The shower had a constant water drip and the shower head at the wall connector was loose and did not stay in place meaning it had to be held up when showering.

Cons:

Internally the place was dirty and run down. Very disappointed. A simple paint would help but in serious need of upgrade. Lights didn’t work, kitchen stove was a mess and impossible to cook on, even simple things like pots, plates and cutlery and cups were just a mess of what looked like cheap old left over bits and pieces. Beds were cheap and uncomfortable, one bedroom had an old stand fan only … there was even only one damaged lamp in the whole place. Overall everyone was disappointed.

Our stay at Beaches on Wave was great we a very enjoyable stay for the whole family

Location was central to all activities we wanted to see and attend, close to the beach and shops, beds were comfortable and our stay was very enjoyable

Cons:

Everything was great, will probably stay again next holiday season

It was a nice stay
Pros:

We liked the location and even thought it’s near may facilities and the beach it was silent . Also the apartment is good sized. I liked having a full kitchen and the kids enjoyed the pool.

Cons:

The apartment is a bit old and more suitable for 4 people, as we were 5 and someone slept in the couch ( sofa bed) I think it could be improved a bit ( both cleaning and the comfort of that sofa) or substituted by a new one.
