Location Price
The location is great if visiting or needing to stay in that part of Newcastle, close to M1 Freeway entrance and plenty of off street parking. The Room was comfortable for an overnight stay.
The IBIS is showing its age and certainly hasn’t been upgraded for some time. The reception area and breakfast area is small and unwelcoming. For the size of the accommodation I was expecting something larger.

Everything was very good. The room was comfortable and clean, and I had a pleasant stay. I would be happy to stay here again.
The bathroom could use a little more attention, especially the shower. There was some mould in the grout lines between the tiles. I would recommend cleaning these areas regularly to prevent the mould from building up.
it had parking i guess
it was dirty, there was mold and hair in the shower, the bed was impossible to sleep in and the tv remote didn’t work properly it just turned the tv on but nothing else
The bed was surprisingly comfortable, sheets were lovely.
We did pay $98 for one night and before anyone says ‘oh but that’s cheap’ and ‘you get what you pay for’ it wouldn’t break the bank to decorate the place a bit. Also I have stayed in cubicle hostels for 100euro that were a lot nicer. Pictures obviously much nicer than the stay.
The actual room is a cube with literal cube toilet/shower combo.
My partner and I both said at the same time it was exactly like we were in the public hospital room I gave birth in but worse because you couldn’t even dim the lighting.
