Double Standard Room, 2nd FLR. Very tired, bearable vs $ paid and location
Pros:

Location to CBD.. Bed was quite comfy. Good water pressure in shower. Clean towels. Heating/cooling available. Good ventilation / fresh air flow via the windows.

Room was reasonably clean, but if you're fussy...it won't be for you.

Cons:

Room very tired and needs TLC. Definitely needs a fresh coat of paint. A bathroom globe is missing. Broken hinges. Some mould in grouting, though not much. No microwave in room as advertised. Tea and making facilities provided but no teaspoons or dishwashing liquid, sponge and tea towel to wash, clean and dry cups with. How hygienic could they be? Only one pillow each. We had brought ours from home in case as well as our own cups etc ...shouldn't have or needed to do that or carry unnecessary luggage.

Room hasn't been dusted properly in a while - eg. lampshade vents etc

It met our expectations only because we were prepared of what to expect reading review comments after booking was made. It would not have met expectations otherwise and the ad photos paint a better picture to that of what you actually get.

No problems, good place to stay.
Pros:

Central location everything walking distance in Hobart CBD, handy little pizza place downstairs.

Cons:

Would of liked some parking.

Uncomfortable and the smell
Pros:

Location good.

Cons:

Whole hotel was dirty. No door on vanity also stupid doors on shower screen. Shower dirty. No lift only stairs. Light above bed not working. A really bad smell of sewerage in the whole room. Whole hotel needs a paint.

Disappointing but the girl did her best to make it clean as she could

Cons:

Wasn’t cleaned from the last person and had to ask the receptionist to clean it before I could stay she did a quick once over but very shabby all
Round. Stairs hallways entrance were quite grubby and the room and balcony could use a good clean

Disappointing cracked paint everywhere leaking ac. Got woken up at 3 am to drunk randoms banging on my door.

Location was good, there was no breakfast or anything.

The bed moved around on wheels you couldn’t lock off. The tv in the bedroom had no remote.

Cons:

The key did't fit the door ,I didn't get in until after 9.00pm.had to ask the neighbours if he could open door ,No he couldn't .I eventually went down to the restaurant to ask for help .Next night I spoked to a staff lady if I could change rooms , yes ok she helped me with my luggage all good .

Ok very basic,aa very old, not real clean but we checked in late &:it was a easy check- in. check-out not to bad we would stay again if there was no other accommodation in hobart!
