The homestead is a beautifully appointed property set on a hill with a gorgeous vista, kangaroos grazing and colourful birds in the trees. The house itself is elegantly decorated with attention to detail such as fresh flowers and artwork that elevate the experience of staying there to a high level.

Beautiful location & views. Sean & Karen couldn’t have been more welcoming.

The Mudgee Homestead Guesthouse was an amazing place to stay with excellent customer service, lead by Shaun who was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable, nothing was too much trouble for him.
Absolutely beautiful surroundings, very private , gorgeous property. Delicious homemade wine tasting on the day of arrival.

The owner, Shaun is considered a wine connoisseur or sommelier. He is someone who loves and knows a lot about wine, possibly with extensive knowledge of regions, grape varieties, and winemaking.

We had a fantastic stay at this charming and homely homestead with breathtaking views of Mudgee’s countryside. Sean was a great host, making sure we were comfortable and providing excellent recommendations for places to visit, eat, and drink. The location is perfect - close to some amazing wineries and just a short drive to the CBD. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

The location was great. It was not too far from the town but just far enough to enjoy the country holiday.
The rooms were spotless and cozy, and everything was premium. The living room, dining room, and common areas are well-maintained. Sean and Karen are amazing hosts who know exactly what their guests want. The breakfast was exceptional with great homemade jam and preserves. The entertainment room underneath is just what a guy would want in his house, bar area, pool table, nice and comfy couch, and darts. I can't wait to go back again with more friends and stay here longer.

This is top of the range accommodation with regard to everything - its situation, comfort, view, catering (afternoon tea and cake and the sumptuous multi-course breakfast served in a lovely dining room or on the terrace). The hosts, Karen and Shawn, make sure you are as close to heaven as you can be! We can't wait to book another stay.

This is the best location with views around Mudgee. Breakfast included is exceptional...not only a wonderful cooked breakfast different each day but plenty of additional options for cereals, fruit, yoghurt, toast, spreads, apple and orange juice. You don't need lunch. Have been twice and can't fault the hospitality and wonderful ambience.

The homestead is a great location, with everything you need nearby.
