Pleasant and comfortable
Pros:

Easy top book, apartment as described, perfect for family of mixed ages traveling together

Cons:

It was a little out of town so not a walkable distance but everything we needed was in the apartment and great having a restaurant as part of the resort

Great location but probably find somewhere else, with more services considering the price.
Pros:

Great Location close to town.
Check-in staff was very friendly.

Cons:

Towel were not changed the whole time we were there, we had to wash them ourselves in the washing machine.
Room not serviced at all, Villa very run down cracks in the walls, water marks & mould spots from leaks.
Pub music very noisy at night due to being so close to the beer garden, also very average pub meals.

Autumn Break
Pros:

We've been coming to The River for a few years now, always clean
rooms, good bar and restaurant service. The location is handy, staff friendly and the music's good.

WEEKEND RETREAT
Pros:

We always stayed at the Margaret River Resort for years ! Its location is A1 & great value for money ! We recently spent a weekend away at the resort. Our room (#18) was clean, but several issues came to light for us. Firstly, the security chain for the front door was completely missing which meant any of the resort staff could of entered our room if we were still in the room ?? Also, the bedroom area was absolutely frezzing. There was no air conditioner in the room, not even a floor heater ?? We'll still be coming back to the resort when we visit Margaret River again. A complete maintenance audit on all rooms needs to be done to pick up item that need to be repaired

Pros:

Great location for the event we were attending & walking distance to food shops & the main street for eating & shopping. Easy to get in & out & parking.

Cons:

The cleanliness of the room. Walls & door in bathroom dirty & what looked to be mould around the air con unit. Bit noisy Saturday night with loud music.

Spa bath was very dirty, towels not replaced, no responses on mail/messages, wifi slow
Pros:

the location is amazing, and the whole park looks very cute. the restaurant has a very nice vibe as well.

Cons:

- we got a spa room, but the spa jets in the bath were very dirty and blasting flakes and debri through our bath, very disgusting. The spa jet button even had a "sanitized" seal on it, but i guess that doesn't mean they actually cleaned it. I let the staff know, but they didn't offer any compensation, they just said they'd make a note of it.

- the towels would only be replaced every 3 days, which was not enough since we only got 1 towel and 1 face towel each but no separate floor towel.

- i tried contacting the accommodation in several ways about receiving an invoice of my stay, but the respond nowhere.

- the maps location we got from booking.com is not guiding you to the reception but the villa park next to this accommodation. we spent 20 minutes looking around the villa park for a reception only to find out we actually had to be at the street address next to where we were guided.

-the wifi was very slow, couldn't really do anything on it apart from sending messages.

Pros:

The villa was very cosy and clean. Great for a family with a pool, tennis court and skate ramp a few hundred metres away. It is located close to shops and restaurants in Margaret River. I would recommend this accommodation.

Cons:

It was a very disappointing experience for the following reasons:
Considering we booked the room/apartment eight months ago, it was disappointing to be given a unit on the second floor.
The carpet was old, stained, and appeared dirty, although it may not have been.
There was only an overhead light in the sitting area.
There was no heater in the bedroom, so it was a very chilly night's sleep, even with an extra blanket.
There were too few outlets.
A sign saying guests would be charged $50 for not washing dishes seemed excessive.
Likewise, a huge charge for an additional roll of toilet paper was ridiculous.
Not supplying any shampoo seemed cheap given the unit's price.
