It's a place to sleep but if you can to find a different one
Pros:

The location is pretty good considering you can walk from the port ferry terminal to this hotel

Cons:

You get the very basic even by philippines standards wi-fi is very spotty and weak in rooms the cleaning was done half ass. I can clean better and i'm not a professional i tried to change some dates and they were absolutely not flexible or just not responsive neither to email or in person so overall i will not recommend it or go back to this place next time i'm in town

I Got What I Paid For and Less
Pros:

I liked the location and wifi. Comfortable bed. Staff was nice.

Cons:

Lack of amenities (No free bar soap. No wash cloths. Could not look out of the 1st floor window. Flying insects in room. Bad smell - musty.) Only 5 tv channels - none in English.

Cons:

No toilet rolls, no remote for the tv, had to ask at reception. Noisey and many cock roaches.
Never stay there again. Cold shower.

Cons:

I understand that the other room I booked is non refundable, was so sick in previous days and found out the hotel has no hot shower and was ok with it. I asked the attendant for a kettle and they couldn’t even provide it. I cannot understand that hotels like this still exist in Philippines and not trying to improve their business. This is the only hotel at this rate that doesn’t have necessities you need. I will not come back to any hotels like this in the future.

YES THE GV HOTEL IN ORMOC CITY THE ROOMS ARE BASIC BUT VERY CLEAN THE STAFF WILL CLEAN YOUR ROOM AND PROVIDE CLEAN TOWELS EVERY DAY IF YOU ASK FOR THE LADY AT FRONT DESK VERY NICE PERSON YES I WOULD STOP IN THIS HOTEL AGAIN IF I HAD A BUSINESS TRIP TO ORMOC CITY AGAIN
