Al Tawfiq Plaza Hotel

I liked the location but it was still around 15 minutes of walk.

Very smelly rooms, dirty, garbage overflows. The tap was broken and there was no water in the shower! Cockroaches around, insects of some kind. Air conditioners are extremely noisy and beds and linens are not the best.

As soon as I entered my room, I noticed it hadn’t been cleaned, and there were flies inside. The sink had no proper drainage, so water just spilled onto the floor and into the shower drain. This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in, and I strongly advise against staying here.

The hotel conditions is terrible. Rooms very tight. Didn’t find my reservation with desired beds and i had to change the room after one day. first room was smelly. Staff tried to help but the hotel has nothing but good location

Easy parking

Rooms were very dirty
The toilet was terrible.
The carpets were dirty
All th drawers were broken
The bedding wasn't charged until i had to make a request.
The kettles were rusty.
Cigarette smoke everywhere and too much noise. Worst experience ever.

I would like my money back. It's not worth the amount paid

It’s really not clean and the staff obviously do not care about what’s going on in the hotel.

Expected for the low price it is tbh.

Friendly Staff and convenient location. The room was a bit tiny and the furniture was very old. There is bad smell that ocationally comes from the bathroom

Alles in de kamer is gedateerd en echt aan onderhoud toe.
Personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam, dat was heel fijn.
Op ongeveer 10/15 minuten lopen van el kaaba.

Staffs are super friendly, but the property is super dirty, making business because of its location. Surprised Expedia recommended such hotels.

Avoid this place if you’re concerned about the hygiene!!! Property is located in a reasonable walking distance (~15 minutes) from the Kaaba/Masjid-ul-Haram. As for the hygiene, it was my worst experience ever. I’ve traveled to many different countries, but I’ve never experienced such a dirty accommodation. I don’t think they have ever washed the curtains which smell like poop since they have built the hotel. Windows can’t be open as they’ve placed air conditioning in all windows. I’ve tried to open a window and found ~3-5kg guano (birds poop). I’ve made a video and showed to the receptionist. They gave me another room, but with the same situation. I couldn’t stay their as I was afraid of getting sick. So changed the hotel.

Nice hotel close to al Haram. Only 10 mins walking distance. Rooms were ok. Bed was hard rock and it was perfect for my back.
