Air conditioner in room was very loud and when not on the room got very warm
This was one of the most disappointing and humiliating hotel experiences I’ve ever had.
I traveled with my family from New Orleans to Charlotte for a funeral and paid nearly $400 for one night, expecting basic comfort and accessibility. Instead, I was met with poor service, lack of professionalism, and a complete failure to provide the accessible accommodations I specifically booked.
From a disengaged night auditor watching movies during check-in, to chaotic shared parking that left me— a paraplegic—waiting outside late at night with my elderly mother, the experience started poorly and only got worse.
The accessible room I paid extra for was NOT accessible. It lacked a shower chair and a detachable shower head—both essential for someone in my condition.
When my family asked for assistance, we were initially told nothing could be done. After hours of waiting until 3:30 AM, only a shower chair was provided. Because of this failure, I was forced into a humiliating situation where my daughter had to bathe me.
No guest should ever be put in that position.
The hotel’s response the next day—5,000 points—was insulting and dismissive.
This was not just bad service. This was a failure to meet basic accessibility standards and a complete disregard for guest dignity.
I will never stay at this location again and would strongly warn others with disabilities to avoid it.
The rooms were spacious
The parking
The smell when you walk in and the nice staff!
That the air was blowing right on area at the desk you are working at. I had to turn the air off just so I could work. This was not a big deal for me, and some might like the cold air right on them.
Everybody was friendly, ,clean hotel.
Everything was nice
We have been hesitant to eat hotel free breakfasts for a few years but this place did it right! The staff from checking in, housekeeping, and the restaurant were all extremely helpful, cheerful, and helpful. They do it right!
Location, happy hour, restaurant
Price for the room wasn’t worth it and having a pet the room was way smaller than what the pictures showed
