Peaceful ,comfortable, civilised, quiet. Lovely setting
Excellent friendly service from check in to departure. Lovely room, excellent food and friendly staff.
Good bar selection, laid back comfortable hotel with a decent breakfast. Parking was easy also.
The Westleton Crown was situated in a lovely village. We had a lovely stay, our room was spotless the staff where very attentive and the food was good no complaints. We would go again.
Great place.
Warm welcome, good check in experience, and the room was fine. Rather dark and on the small side but clean and comfortable. The carpets have seen better days. Fairly comfortable bed, but a major problem was that there was no hot water for the beautiful tub. I had spent the whole day travelling and working and a bath would have been great but the hot tap even alone never got more than tepid. I did raise this with the hotel by email and the next morning in person and other than an apology nothing, and no reply to my email.
I think it incredibly poor that for such a price the hot water was not working, and I was very happy not to stay there for the 2nd night as my plans changed. (No offer of a refund or compensation of course).
Will not stay there again because of this.
Dinner at the bar was nice. Excellent wine list.
I was aware that they allowed dogs but I didn’t expect to have them in the restaurant at dinner and breakfast. Unfortunately because of this I wouldn’t return. I heard other people complain about them also. The presence of these creatures was bad enough but when one started barking I just wanted to finish my meal and get out.
Stay would have rated excellent but for the hot water supplied was not of an adequate high temperature to enable shower or bath to be used comfortably - disappointing
Great experience. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. Bar and restaurant very nice too!
Our stay was very good. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We knew the hotel was dog friendly but what we really didn't like were animals in the restaurant. The room next to ours had a dog which yapped. Fortunately it stopped by 9pm. Breakfast was spoilt by a dog barking. Sadly would not return unless policy changes.
All the rooms named after birds . Makes a change from numbers. They also changed rooms for me to accommodate my disabled wife. Staff were very helpful and very polite. Nothing was too much trouble.
A great find!!
Lovely pub / hotel /restaurant in a beautiful spot.
The room was gorgeous with a roll top bath and very comfy bed.
The hotel was totally dog friendly- they are allowed everywhere and even get a sausage for breakfast!
We ate in the restaurant twice and loved it both times - good portions and great specials.
The bar is comfortable with a wide range of cask ales and a great selection of wine.
Finally the staff!
Everyone was very friendly, helpful and welcoming, they worked long shifts but never dropped their standards. Brilliant!
There are a few pubs in the group but would have to do exceptionally well to match The Crown.
Thank you.
Our stay was a last minute decision and we were luckily to get a room for too nights. We also had our little dog with us. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfasts was lovey and had a good choice. They even gave our dog a sausage, which he enjoyed.
The room was small but clean and tidy. The only draw back is that the room was on the top floor, with a lot of stairs to climb. It seemed extra long in the night when the god needed to go to the toilet. But we managed and it was fine.
Good sized room , comfortable bed and great shower. Gods choice of hot and cold breakfast items
Great for visiting Minsmere
Comfortable, friendly, easy and good food. Attention to dogs exceptional.
A very good hotel and excellent value for money.
It is only let down slightly by the quality of evening meals served in its restaurant. Note, the breakfasts were excellent but I will definitely return to try it again.
Lovely hotel. Very nice room.
Delicious food and spacious comfortable room although it was very hot.
Place was comfortable family
