Best Western Plaquemine Inn

Everything was great! From the friendly staff to the quick and easy breakfast.. the only downside to this place is the MF train... it runs 8-10 times a day.. 24/7.. and blows the horn all the way thru town.. 2am and 5am are some of the times. Never missed a beat

It was comfortable and such a peaceful stay ibwould gladly return to this sight and the breakfast was hot and very tasteful thebhouse keepers wasbkindavrude but the it was definitely clean sobi give them that

We have stayed at this location (Plaqeumine, La) at least twice a year for last 10 years. City of Plaquemine as best Veterans Day observance of all I have attended.
BW employees (Nick, manager, Tillie, front desk & Hilda, food service, treat us 'better' than family.

I like that the area was quiet. The room was clean and the temperature adjustment was not a problem. The staff was helpful and polite as well.

The one big issue that made me give an average rating was that when I came for breakfast, there were fruit flies all over the pastries in the pastry cabinet! It was disgusting and nauseating! I was wary of anything else in the breakfast room after seeing that. Apparently, they appear to leave food over from the day before. The lady who was working the breakfast room was very sweet though.

Nice hotel except the train blowing its horn through the night

Room was spacious. Furnishings a bit dated but comfortable. Carpet was reasonably good. Room was clean. Breakfast was good. Staff very friendly and helpful.

This is an amazing and perfect place to stay it is clean and very nice the morning breakfast is pretty good and great lots of choices and they have a pancake making machine in which you press a button and it makes it for you. Plenty of parking and very well lighted so did not feel u safe and again clean as well as the place smells very fresh the only downside (which is not there fault ) is the trains that go by and blast the horns the hotel do provide ear plugs but to be honest unless you are the lightest sleeper you will be ok. I will be back and if you are looking for a great spot to stay this is definitely the place to book with

Good stay, room was clean staff was great. There is a train very close to hotel so you can hear it but didn’t disturb my sleep!

It was alright. We were barely in the room. The train is loud at night and there’s not much to do but it’s a decent hotel for a night or two

Bed was horrible

Comfortable room and pretty good breakfast but if you’re a light sleeper you will be kept awake by the half-hourly trains hooting their horns for about a minute all through the night. Beats me why they can’t use flashing red lights as a warning during night time hours. Didn’t use the pool but it looked clean and inviting.
