Would recommend this hotel to anyone who has an event in the area.
Pros:

Perfect location, close to restaurants, and our venue. Rooms were nice and clean. The staff was friendly and welcoming.

I liked the property. Close to the roadway but no noise disturbances.
Pros:

The location and the staff. The room was very spacious, like that there was laundry onsite.

Cons:

The room was visibly unclean. The window sill had dirt on it. Hangers in the closet were very dusty.

breakfast depending on who was doing it and the breakfast staff was either very friendly by the mill that was providing breakfast are very unfriendly by the female that was providing breakfast very rude multiple staff eating breakfast before guest with family or friends as well

Cons:

consistent breakfast and just pure care and breakfast. Coffee machine was always broke could’ve been fixed very quickly. Coffee creamers weren’t always out very little sugar or sweeteners available when we’re in a domino sugar factory town very disappointing.

The other hotels were booked, last resort.
Pros:

Location was good and the staff were friendly Beds were comfortable.

Cons:

There was a bunch of hair on the outside of tub next to the floor. Gross! The bathroom floor looked horrible. I had to go to Walmart (a bit of a distance away) to get slippers. The outside trash can at the entrance was overflowing and was the same way the next morning. The outside entrance, lobby, and 3rd floor hallway reeked of weed!!!! Probably not the hotel’s fault for that one.

Rude employees and no women's restrooms downstairs in the entrance.
Pros:

Just arrived after traveling a few hours. When my husband and I walked in to check into the hotel, I had to use the restroom. I went looking for it and only saw a men's restroom. We were told very rudely that they didn't have a women's restroom down stairs because of women tearing it up. I saw another restroom, but was told by another employee that it was employees only. I don't understand how they can get away from not having both genders restrooms downstair? This location is 3400 Paris Road, Chalmette, La.

Cons:

Joy was very rude and told us we would need to wait till 3ish o'clock for our rooms to be ready. I advised that we had early check in and she said they decided to change their minds about the early check-in. We drove 10.5 hours to be able to checkin early. She said to come back at 230 and they might be ready then. When we came back at 237 one room was available but the other wasn't unless we wanted to be on separate floors. We made sure our kids & grandkids got the 1st room. By this time the new crew had started. 45 mins after waiting in the lobby the new crew offered my husband & I a room on the second floor stating that the previous employer gave the 3rd floor cleaning crew more work than the second floor which was why it was taking so long. They apologized which was appreciated however it still did not make up for the money spent or wait times. We usually have no problems with Best Westerns and that is why we choose them. The next morning breakfast was cold and there was no coffee.
