Americas Best Value Inn Sinton

Description said this stay came with breakfast. There was no breakfast. I recommended they remove that as I was counting on this as part of my reason to book here.

Car broke down at midnight and they took care of us. Check in was very friendly and gracious in our harrowing situation. Clean and spacious w great AC. Best ABV I have stayed in. Right off highway and close to many restaurants. I have to type 200 characters. Done

Room was OK. I accidently booked a Smoking room. I'm not sure if he had a Non-Smoking available, but he wasn't going to let me change to one. The motel was not full. The listing showed Continental Breakfast, but he stated there was no breakfast. Coffee machine and coffee were in the room, but there were not coffee cups.

The ceiling fan needed a very good cleaning, looked like it hasn't been done in yrs

The room was dirty, dusty, dead spider on the bathroom door frame, slippery tub floor, no tub mats, the couch had several large stains on the upholstery. Receptionist staff was not courteous, no welcome.

We will not stay there again or any of the Americas Best Motels.

Older motor inn bring your own pillows.

The reception was rude. I booked a double queen, we got a double double. Found an old toothbrush and beer bottle cap in the chair cushion. No towels in the room. Tub had rusted spots from water dripping. The hotel said on the website there was a contential breakfast, no breakfast at all.

Great place to stay for a quick trip. Will definitely use again!

AC not cooling, only two towels (no wash or hand towel), poor service.

Nice big clean room

Its a basic place to sleep and leave. No breakfast or etc. Very basic

Not good. Way overpriced. Not worth the money. No breakfast. Advertised having one. One of the reason we stayed there. Room was musty. Ceiling was pealing. No pool. Will not stay there again. No one to check us out the next morning. Not nearly worth the $100+ we paid.

I'd been here a year before and was actually impressed. We checked in at 11 PM and the a/c was completely off. I could overlook that, since we came in late. It took about 3 hrs to cool off. Until then, we were miserable waiting, it had been about 98° that day.
I ended up killing a roach and there was a nail clipping on floor. Didn't find the roach trap til I went to move the chair to get better pic. I just noticed there seems to be rat poop!
At checkout my sister asked lady at front desk if we could have a courtesy hour and she said yes. At 11:05 the mgr comes and tells my sister we have to leave. I went to front desk and lady wouldn't come out. Mgr said no we had to leave. I let him know that I killed a roach for him. All he said was thank you.

It was perfect for our one night stay. Clean and affordable. Nice staff. Pet friendly dogs up to 20ibs. Non-smoking room was spacious with King bed and sofa.

As being one of the only hotels in sinton I have stayed at this hotel prior but this place has gone down hill. I will never be staying here again. The mattresses are hard as a rock, blankets had cigarette burns and looked very old and dingy. The couch looked dirty with dirt stains and grease. The tub had rust stains and no slip resistant bottom which cause me to slip out of the tub and hit the toilet. Water pressure almost nonexistent. Furniture looked old with scratched and very worn out. Room smelt muggy and stale. Front desk was a quick check in which was nice, but not very friendly. Bummer is town lacks other options.

Upon reaching the room, had problems getting the key card to do anything. Finally got in. Went to take a shower and no towels in the room. Got dressed again and walked to the office to get towels, manager apologized and gave me gray colored white towels. Walked back to the room and the key card wouldn’t work at all. Thank goodness my wife was there to open up. The toilet ran all night. The ceiling fan had a horrible coating of black dirt on the blades. Towel rack at the lavatory was torn off the wall. Microwave didn’t have the glass plate to set your dish on so it was unusable. Bathtub was dangerously slick. Next morning walked to the front for the continental breakfast that was advertised. Was told that they haven’t served breakfast since COVID. Really??
I highly recommend staying away from this place. I learned my lesson about not reading reviews. Apparently, this place has been terrible for a long time.

Made reservations for 2 rooms & called ahead to ensure we'd be able to check in after hours. We used the small window for check in. When we tried the keys, they didn't work. I had to walk back to the window for keys. This was a foreshadowing of MORE surprises. I know this is a road side motel. Still I want a clean room. There were stains on the furniture, window curtains, shower curtain, sheets smelled like they'd been slept in, & towels were gray (beyond dingy). Even if we were EXHAUSTED, the road noise & train were unyielding. We will revert to the motel next door ... which is plain but clean.
