Pros:

Comfortable beds, quiet room, excellent shower, good breakfast.
Good location walking distance to many restaurants.

Cons:

While the front desk and the cleaning staff were excellent we had a bad experience in the bar with a trainee staff member. We had a coupon for a free drink at the bar and simply asked for a glass of dry white wine. He was alone in the bar area as the other staff member was busy with a group of VIP guests who had multiple staff member taking care of them. This trainee was quite sick and was coughing and sneezing constantly. In no way is this his fault, but in my opinion he should not have been working given his illness and his given his lack of bar skills he should not have be expected to cope on his own.

We loved Madrid. It’s a great city and the hotel was in such a great location that it made it even more amazing stay.
Pros:

Location was superb. Staff was outstanding. Breakfast was quite well stocked. Overall, it’s a super good hotel in the best location. Everything is in walking distance.
