Pros:

It’s nice hotel near ocean and center of the capital. If you want more comfort it would be better to book executive room as single room is too small. The service is a bit slow but overall it’s great place

OK for a night or two just to see the capital
Pros:

Hotel food is good and probably would have received a better rating from me but no one seems to speak English very well and I don't speak Portuguese and I only understand/speak very limited French. No maps available for site seeing on your own; just wanted to push tours which I don't do. Mushrooms and mold growing along the baseboards but otherwise the hotel was clean and comfortable. Not recommended to for a longer stay since none of the beaches nearby are okay for swimming. Better to stay on the north or south sides of the island because it is very easy to always get into the capital for shopping or the airport, etc.
