Modern hotel in the heart of Manila
Pros:

Our stay at City of Dreams - Nüwa was an incredible experience. We loved it there, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, the food was excellent and incredibly diverse, and the restaurants were delicious. I'll definitely stay there for a few nights when I return to Manila.

Cons:

Regarding my comments, I have a few. The first is that the hotel is connected to a casino, which is quite an interesting experience. You have to go through the casino to get to breakfast. This might not be suitable for some, but it wasn't a problem for us.

I have one complaint about the breakfast: not all the stalls were open, and the breakfast we had, for example, had no sweets or desserts section at all.

And one final note: maybe I'm expecting too much, but when we were staying at a similar hotel in Bangkok, when we had an evening flight, we were offered check-out but we were still able use the hotel amenities, such as the pools. This wasn't possible here. Even though the pool was empty, we were informed that the only option was a late check-out, which cost us the equivalent of half a night's stay.
These decisions make you feel more like a customer than a guest, although I understand that business model.

Wonderful hotel, will definitely book here again.
Pros:

The staff was excellent all throughout. I remembered their names when I was going to write a review a week ago, but in particular I want to shout out the staff at the front desk (including Miss Lou), the staff at the concierge, housekeeping, pest control, and room service staff. Also, shout out to whoever did the interiors, because this hotel is BEAUTIFUL. Probably the best hotel I've stayed in since I started traveling again in 2023.

Cons:

There was an issue after our first night that I completely believe was not the hotel's fault, but I really appreciated that they went all out to address the issue and take care of us. So I didn't like that the incident happened, but I really like that they went out 1,000% to fix it and make sure we were all right.
