Bed was very comfortable
Parking
We were moved to Bayfront Marin as there was a problem with the water at Bella Bay. All excellent we were pleased with being looked after so well
Nothing everything was perfect
The staff were great when booking and helpful when we arrived answering the phone promtly, and location was great. You could walk to everything so didn't really need the car unless going to the beach, however since I was here with work partly, I needed to unload and reload a lot of things and it was a bit inconvenient of a location.
Parking attendant could have been more helpful. My main gripe was the ac bearly worked so it was humid and warm in the room. The decor was ok but rather dated and carpet was old. Everything else was adequate but we did look at other places while we were there and feel this was overpriced. The parking was very far too a good 10 minute walk.
Convenient easy access close to everything.
Didn’t like that there wasn’t parking on site, lack of cloths hangers , plastic shower curtain needs to be changed has seen better days
The bathroom was clean.
The carpets were filthy and stunk. They need to be replaced.
I liked the unique style of the room and it was spacious. This hotel was in a very convenient location to the River, Fort and many attractions.
All as expected.
Comfortable, close to everything in historic district, had kitchenette, was clean
Too many stairs to the room we stayed in. No windows in the room except the one that had air conditioner. Parking was not on premises but didn't know where to park so we stayed there.
Good location
The air conditioner was blowing on our face at night. Had to turn off but the other air conditioner was on & off thru the night.
Room was very clean and inviting. Bed very comfy. The attendant for OC Whites was actually incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. I know that sounds weird, but he was tge one givingbus all the info, not the owners as you must enter their lot to get to your rooms.
Didn't bother us, but know there are stairs to get to the room. You do hear noise from OC Whites at night. Not bad in our opinion but we did hear the music if that kind of thing bothers you. The parking lot for your vehicle is a few blocks away so be prepared to walk. You can unload your vehicle then you gotta move your car
Great stay in the historic district. Comfortable, clean room walking distance to many restaurants and shops.
Location was excellent . Room was quaint and nice. Bedding was very soft and comfortable . Very clean .
Parking was an issue , as can’t park at property . They have a designated area and we had issues fitting into the last spot they had with a truck, however, they were very accommodating on finding us another place . And was close to the historic district . Staff was excellent !!!
Excellent location to Historic downtown. A few steps away from everything.
It is self check-in as there is no office or staff. The check in instructions were very clear and very easy to navigate.
I stayed in room #2 and it was very large. No balcony but two sunny windows that overlooked the water and bridge street side.
Kitchenette included a small fridge, microwave, coffee pot and counter with sink. Four reg and four decaf coffees were provided for the machine. Coffee creamer/sugar provided.
A large table with two chairs provided a nice place to sit, eat and I was able to spread out my computer.
TV had free HULU app for viewing.
There was a large soaking bath tub in the bathroom that was nice. Ample towels and complimentary toiletries were provided.
King size bed was extremely comfortable with clean bedding. Plenty of electrical outlets. A large room air purifier was available for use.
Overall a great price point for the location and size of the room.
Noise was an issue. As you are right downtown near an intersection loud vehicles/motorcycles can definitely be heard clearly.
What I did not care for was the rooms were located over a Pub. So the music was loud until midnight on the weekends. You can definitely hear people talking outside on the sidewalk coming and going. Weekdays the music was much lower with not as much foot traffic.
Parking-
You will have a loading zone with a max of 15 minutes to transfer your luggage to your room and the lot attendant will direct you. You will be watched so don't let your vehicle sit there or they will call a tow company as they are very serious.
Parking was approximately 4 easily walked blocks to another location. You parked your car in an apartment complex lot so it was not street parking. The parking spots were small so it was tight. You can pay to park on the street at $2.50/hour for max 4 hours from 9am-9 pm near the hotel if spots are available. It is a high demand parking area.
For the most part the room was generally clean. However I did find a food bag under the bed with half eaten food in it. So the cleaning staff never checked there. Food had mold so it had gone unnoticed for some time.
A large room air purifier was available for use. I checked the charcoal filter and it looked to have never been cleaned/replaced and was completely clogged and the HEPA filter needed replacing was very dirty.
5 calles.
We loved the place and location was the bomb. Loved being able to walk downstairs and have a beer! Great overal place top to bottom.
We managed because we are able and in shape but for old folks having to park several streets over then walk back and forth could be chore. It seemed like there was plenty of parking to keep you car there over night. Anyway, we will be back for sure!
Location is the ONLY thing I can speak with positivity
The site indicates onsite parking, BUT parking is actually almost 1/2 mile away from the inn and in a VERY SKETCHY area. Upon entering the loading/unloading zone, the attendant came out and said,” You have 15 minutes to unload or be towed.” Is that really the impression an establishment wants their guests to be greeted? The inn had a very mildewed smell upon entering. Not impressed and will not be giving positive feedback to others who ask
