Location and comfort, restaurant good for dinner, location was great
We were greeted by staff each time we came to the hotel. They were warm and welcoming and took care of our needs like family. They remembered our preferences and went the extra mile for us.
Excellence location, breakfast was fantastic. The rooms are dated as is the hotel but it doesn't change the comfort levels. Beautiful building with lots of history. On-Site Restaurant, "The Wild Fig" is really special. The thing to appreciate most about this hotel is the Staff. Thanks very much.
The room needs a bit of work on upgrading some of the electrical plugs for modern devices and a Smart TV instead of a DSTV bouquet would be recommended but these are minor issues.

We found the reception staff very unfriendly but the kitchen staff were delightful

Fijne ligging t.o.v. diverse attracties in Kaapstad. Mooi zwembad.
Naastgelegen restaurant Thecwild Fidge is een echte aanrader.
Bij het ontbijt was personeel niet altijd vriendelijk.
Er was op zondag een klein festival met wel wat geluidsoverlast.
Volgens de receptie medewerker klopte de prijs van Booking.com niet. We zouden moeten bijbetalen. Uiteindelijk hoefde dit toch niet.

Bathroom door could not be closed so light from outside passage disturbed our sleep
The vicinity to the Grootte Schuur hospital is ideal. The rooms are large and spacious.
The passage and stairs were very dark. The lights did not work.

Convenient to get to the city, Blouberg, Constantia and the airport
Shower door needed realignment and toilet seat was too small
