Room was very big

Cons:

Location far from a restaurant and no means to cook purchased items. No Aie Conditioner and they put me in front of the car park as well with loud foot traffic overhead. Very uncomfortable as it is a hot time of year

No bathroom inside the room. Bathroom was detached and that was difficult for me. Fine for some.

Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und gepflegt.

Wir bekamen leider keine Info, wie der Checkin funktioniert. Ein kleiner Hinweis, dass beim Surfer Zimmer das Bad nicht im Zimmer, sondern gegenüber liegt, wäre hilfreich.

Beautiful property!
Pros:

Just a walk down to a beach…but dark sand so SUPER hot in the afternoons. Close to bus stop. Bed was comfy and everything was clean. Wonderful.

Cons:

Taxi and uber drivers had a difficult time finding it.

We were happy we returned to this beautiful Hawaiian style hotel
Pros:

I like the location with views of the ocean and a snorkeling beach a short walk away. I like the old fashioned Hawaiian style structures with glass louvres for windows and with lovely balconies. I like the non corporate furnishings and decor. The plantings around the hotel are beautiful and bring plenty of birdsong. The new management is doing a great job. Our kitchenette was well-appointed.

Cons:

Staff is not around much of the day. This could be a problem but wasn’t. When we wanted beach towels I texted in the morning and they were brought our room.

There were ants, and COCKROACHES in my room, mysterious black dots on my sheets (which they claimed was skin debris-it was not) when I asked them to take care of the sheets there were more black dots on the mattress protector but the staff just wiped it off with a towel and said they couldn’t switch it out. I killed the cockroaches myself and had messaged the property. He picked it up and said “oh they get in from the windows”. My windows were never open during my stay. All they did was put a roach trap down in the bathroom. There were black dots in the shower that I thought were just scratched off paint because the property is older, nope..they washed off once I was in the shower. There was hair in the shower that was there before I showered, proving it was not clean. There was constantly ants, from the moment I checked in. I had food in the fridge but never ate in the room ever. The parking lots are insanely tight and it’s a miracle trying to get into the very very limited parking. I had to make a 10 point turn just to park. The road up to the complex is really only big enough for 1 car, so I’ve had to back up to let another car pass, and there’s rocks everywhere so be careful that you don’t scrape your car. There was also a gecko in my room, which didn’t bother me much because it stayed away for the most part, but didn’t really want to share my room with all these disgusting bugs. Worst place I’ve ever stayed at, save yourself.

Clean and pretty place to stay near Kailua Kona
Pros:

Our room was very clean and nicely decorated and appointed. The kitchenette was a nice bonus. Parking was easy and free. Close to downtown Kailua and walking distance to a beach and sunsets.

Cons:

We didn't pay attention to the fact that the room we booked had a detached bathroom (had to go outside a short distance to get to it). But it worked out just fine. Next time staying would book a room with a bathroom inside.

Confortable et paisible 🤙🏼🌊
Pros:

Endroit propre et calme. À quelque pas de l’océan permettant d’entendre les vagues et de se rendre à pied à celle-ci et d’y faire de la plongée ou du surf. Une école de surf est situé juste en bas du sentier. L’hôte nous a accommodé selon notre itinéraire ce qui nous a permet d’y séjourner malgré la période achalandé et même de surclassé notre loft. L’hôte est rejoignable rapidement par message et de l’équipement de plongée 🤿 est disponible sur place ainsi qu’autre accessoire de place. Finalement une buanderie sur place est un atout quand on voyage en sac à dos! Nous avons eu un coup de cœur pour l’endroit.🌊🤙🏼

Cons:

Notre premier séjour était dans la chambre Surfer avec salle de bain détachée alors c’est moins pratique dans la nuit mais autrement, c’est une salle de bain privée, très propre à deux pas de la chambre elle même.
