Lovely birthday stay at Queens Hotel

We loved the cleanliness of the room and its river outlook with all its pretty night lights on the bridge. Very well located for visitors arriving by train and exploring the city.

There was nothing to not like about the property.

Very good option for a stay in York.
Pros:

Room was a reasonable side as was the bathroom. Although as it was the top floor the ceiling of the bathroom etc was shaped by the roof so you had to make sure you took that into account while in the shower. Bed was comfortable and plenty of space to put clothes and bags. A very short walk across the bridge into the Old town with out having to contend with noise of a night. Breakfast options were good. Lift available in the hotel.
