Good nature oriented experience
Pros:

Breakfast was great. The view from the hotel yard and the trails are fantastic. Friendly staff.

Cons:

The rooms are spacious but don’t expect luxury. This is a natural setting, beware of keeping doors open at night as the bugs will be attracted to light. In our rooms bugs were on the ceiling and on the pillows, the staff attempted to remove bugs. Of course, the hotel is designed for nature. So the vibe is more nature and minimalistic, just be prepared mentally then you will have a great experience. We also stayed in Belmar, that provided both nature and luxury.

Once we arrived, we didn't want to leave
Pros:

The view from our room was amazing. We could see the sun set over the Pacific Ocean in the distance. We took advantage of the Permaculture tour and the evening bird watching tour, both onsite. Their onsite farm produces 35% of all the food for the restaurant -- we ate all our meals onsite. Once we arrived, we didn't want to leave.

Cons:

Nothing could be better!

Conociendo Monteverde, de la mano de Valle Escondido toda una experiencia.
Pros:

El restarurante, las áreas de relajación, las vistas, lo único es que yo quería usar esas áreas por la tarde y únicamente estaba abierto hasta las 16:00, pero era justo casi cuando regresaba del tour.

Cons:

Que había muy mala recepción de internet,

Beautiful views!
Pros:

The view from the front lawn is exquisite, and we were lucky enough to have that same view from one of our rooms. The second room, which was actually more expensive, was behind reception down a dark path and had no view at all. It was a larger space, but it was definitely a worse room. We wish we had booked two of the less expensive ones which had much better natural light! We really appreciated the kindness of the staff overall and that they made me corn tortillas at breakfast as I'm gluten free.

Cons:

The restaurant is all outdoors so we were quite cold...

El entorno es muy lindo y la gente es amable, pero falta servicio

Cons:

El clima es frío y no hay calefacción, el lugar para desayunar es abierto y muy ventoso y no es agradable comer con frío. Tuve que pedir mantas xq las habitaciones no tenían. El desayuno es desordenado y no reponen rápidamente.

La vista es espectacular, unos atardeceres inolvidables. Caminar por los senderos es una bellísima experiencia. Los conceptos de turismo sostenible que manejan son excelentes y todo el personal lo comprende e implementa.

Nice place, very family friendly.
Pros:

Beautiful property on a reserve. Many trails and activities on site. The pizza was delicious!

Cons:

Some of the service in the restaurant is not as not great. We were seated and then 5 other tables were seated and given drinks and orders taken before anyone helped us.

Unforgettable Views and Farm-to-Table Magic – A Must-Stay in Monteverde
Pros:

This is an incredibly cool hotel and farm with a massive, beautiful territory. Because the property is situated on a hill, it offers an unbelievable view of the Pacific Ocean. The restaurant is the perfect spot to enjoy a delicious dinner while watching one of the best sunsets I’ve ever seen.

I loved the "farm-to-table" concept—they grow their own vegetables and spices right on-site for the restaurant. The property also features excellent hiking trails and various observation decks with stunning views of waterfalls.

The rooms are great and equipped with everything necessary for a very comfortable stay. Our only regret is that we only stayed for one night—this place deserves much more time!

Nothing! Our stay was perfect.

I felt the accommodation itself could have been decorated a little warmer, we were in the new building and I’m aware this is a matter of taste but as we were in such an amazing area full of wildlife I felt the rooms could reflect this a little more.

Inmerso en la naturaleza con un gran estilo
Pros:

Todo el concepto de permaculture, estilo muy sencillo pero elegante, con una gran integración con la naturaleza. El personal muy amable (Elian, Miguel y otros de recepción). La comida fue exquisita y a un precio razonable. La regadera y las camas muy confortables.
