Convenient location for futakotamagawa parkrun. Can see the start from hotel window. Short jog to start.

Only stayed one night so difficult to give a review. A little confusing how to get out of hotel. Two lifts! Staff not overly helpful.

First Time Experience at Futakotamagawa - Japan!
Pros:

The property is surrounded by tons of shopping options and eating options within a 5 minute walking distance. The train station was also conveniently located within a 5 minute walk. The convenience of the Limo Bus Service located at the front of the hotel really was a bonus as well. We enjoyed the AYCE breakfast buffet once during our stay and the buffet options were excellent. The public pool was off limits to tattoos therefore my family did not get to experience it. I did inquire about the massage services offered but was disappointed that services were only offered to men only. The room itself was the larger option offered and the view was breath taking over looking the river and facing Mt. Fuji. On the clearest days, we enjoyed our morning coffee from Starbucks as we sat at our table appreciating the views of such a majestic mountain. At night, we also enjoyed overlooking the city lights of the surrounding suburbs. The cleanliness of our room was top notch and really enjoyed the complimentary coffee, tea and water included in the room.

Cons:

I would have rated this property a 10, but I feel it was very important that I share the opportunities that the staff must work on. A family member of mine stayed in a smaller room, down the hall, just for 2 nights and had major electricity surges that turned the lights on and off at all times of the day and night. My family member also brought their 5 month old infant who did not sleep well due to the malfunctions and there was no option for them to relocate nor were extended even the smallest discount to their stay. I even took it upon myself to speak to the manager expressing my concern about my families room issues immediately. Upon their check out, I was very polite but clear that we were not expecting a full refund for their 2 night stay but a 10% discount would have been suffice. The female working at the front was not empathetic nor understanding to our concern. She stated she would need to speak to her manager, but remained standing at the counter and just looked at me asking for an additional 400 yen for their remaining balance for their stay as they checked out. I understand that as a foreign visitor, there could have been language barriers but we were speaking english. As for my specific room stay, we experienced the very same electrical outage that turned all the lights, the ac, and fridge, etc. for 2 minutes, which was down the hallway on the same floor in my room during our 11 night visit. Couldn’t tell you if there were more outages as we were out of our room for most of the days and nights we visited. Please note, other than the female staff member who failed to make things right for my family member, overall the rest of the staff at this property were amazingly respectful, helpful, informative and welcoming. Thank you to Akahane-san. He was extremely helpful, kind during our stay.
