This hotel is located on a quiet hill with a beautiful view, a great place for an overnight stay during a trip, or a weekend get away to some peaceful time. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is abundant with freshly baked pastries. Strongly recommended! Definitely will stay again if passing here again in future.

A great place to stopover on the way back or to the south of France. The town of Chinon is 5 mins away and worth exploring. Host was excellent and very helpful. We got a vegetarian meal ( feel the menu should have this) which was put together for us and was excellent. Lovely room with a pleasant view. Only negative point was a school group who were above us were quite noisy but still got a good nights sleep.

Amazing staff. Gentleman who runs the property is amazing! Great food. Quiet and comfy bed. Only issue was very on and off WiFi.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet établissement exceptionnel. Installés dans la chambre pour pmr (personne à mobilité réduite) nous avons particulièrement apprécié la salle de bain spacieuse et aménagée de façon efficace pour une personne en fauteuil roulant. Quel plaisir de contempler la vue magnifique sur la forêt, dans le calme du soir, depuis la petite terrasse privative ! La gentillesse et la prévenance du propriétaire et la cuisine délicieuse ont parfait ce séjour qui restera dans nos mémoires. Merci à M Loussouarn !

This is a very nice place with friendly service. No kitchen utilities, but the restaurant is good and fairly priced. Try the escargot! The air conditioning was a relief!! Very centrally located if you're going chateau-seeing. And the sunset view from the terraces is wonderful.

Downer: No working Wi-fi in the farthest rooms. (Ours was #25)

Wonderful view, clean hotel and very friendly hosts.

We have been using this hotel since it was first taken over by the present Patron and his wife. The rooms are adequate, clean and comfortable, each with a small private terrace. The Patron speaks excellent English and couldn't be more helpful. Madame runs the kitchen and the restaurant is improving with each passing year. Adequate parking and delightful outlook down the valley of the Vienne.makes a pleasant end to the day. Well away from the road and so is an oasis of peace and quiet. No complaints at all, .

Stopping over on the way back to the ferry. But wish we'd stayed longer. Hotel manager is a top bloke couldn't do enough for us.
