Comfortable hotel with good atmosphere
Cons:

I could hear a bit of noise(music) from the downstairs bar when i went to bed. It didnt disturb me. I dont know if it would be noisier at weekends.

Lovely place would stay again breakfast was great. Hope this never happens adding.
Pros:

Location was great and bar was very nice.

Cons:

At about 9am we’ve got a knock at the door though we had a do not disturb sign on the door.

Surprised I asked them to wait a minute so my girlfriend could move to the bathroom as had just had a shower and I could put on a dressing gown.

As I opened the door I saw one of the two men in t-shirts / jeans (not uniform no identification ) about to use a key card to enter our room !!!

They said the fire alarm had gone off in our room ( nonsense ) and pushed the door and just walked in and looked at the smoke detector and said something about a red light to each other.

I said maybe it was steam as we have both just showered still shocked to what was happening.

One started chatting but no apology I said you can go now.

I’ve never had a room intrusion like this before and when I spoke about it later on, he seemed to think it’s some sort of joke laughing it off.

Upon reflection they have a strong non-smoking policy and maybe a detector went off in their office because of the steam and they believe they were gonna catch us smoking in there which occurs a £125 cleaning fine.

Work weekend in Brighton
Pros:

I got the best room in the hotel - very big and very nice with a big bathroom with bathtub and shower separately - great views of the beach and pier from the windows and chic furniture inside (although quite dated).
The staff was really friendly and welcoming and made me feel at home.
The hotel has a nice entertainment program as well most nights.

Cons:

The whole building is a typical traditional English hotel with wooden floors that feel unstable and creak with every step someone on your floor or above you takes.

Pros:

Das Zimmer war völlig ausreichend. Es war gut, dass eine Heizung in dem Zimmer war, welche man selbständig betätigen konnte.

Die Lage ist natürlich super, ich konnte von meinem Seitenzimmer trotzdem aufs Meer blicken und auf den Pier!

Cons:

Es ist ein altes Gebäude und deshalb ist es mit Gepäck durch den Aufzug etwas eng.

Never fails to please
Pros:

Amazing incredible Sunday lunch at legends today, truly delicious!
Good table service too which is rare these days, and to top off a fabulous day with friends!!! Cabaret x 2! Been here a few times and it just gets better!

Lovely stay, great people and great food
Pros:

Location and staff were great, showers are amazing. Wasn’t too loud when we stayed. Had the breakfast and we had a giant feast for £12 which was a bargain.

Cons:

Rooms kind of remind me of being in a ship cabin.
