you can't complain for such price. it's ok for a night's stay.
The most uncomfortable part is the request for debit/credit card information including security code at check-in. They claimed it's a formality to record this information just in case customers made any damage to the room. I drove 4 hours down to brighton knacked that night, so gave them my debit card details at their request. I then felt very uncomfortable later on, so double checked with front desk the next day. They committed to erase the information if they found no damage after my check-out. They also said they could accept deposit in cash but I wasn't told of this option at the time of my check-in (otherwise, I would definitely pick this choice). Now I'm considering of condemning my card.
Good location and rooms are clean.
The main issue was the noise from the bar downstairs in our room on the first floor. It was intolerable and they said it would go on until 4am even though the bar was empty. It didn’t make sense to disturb all guests sleep for the sake of an empty bar and people can just party in the basement anyway.
We asked to be moved as it was clear sleep was impossible and they were friendly about it but it costs £30 extra making for a very expensive stay. I’d not return to stay again even in a quieter room because of all this. I’ve stayed before on quieter nights without issue, so be mindful of this at weekends.
The view, location, staff and it was cosy and clean.
The bed was a bit awkward but nothing major.
Clean
Karaoke
Great seafront hotel , lovely friendly staff on arrival. Clean cosy room, small but had everything you could want. Great views , lovely bar underneath.
Could hear/feel the music on 1st floor until early hours as I’m such a light sleeper, definitely recommend using the earplugs provided. My daughter didn’t hear anything though, she slept well.
Friendly staff
My seaside view in room 307 was very nice and enjoy greatly .I would come back again as they say four in bed
I did like to be ask to pay a Bond of £50 cash as I refuse to give them my bank details hence cash . I book by booking.com and this is a first that ever that I had to pay bond . Also be prepare for Friday and Saturday as they have club that part the hotel that runs till six in morning and if like your sleep this not place for you even if they provide ear plugs🫣🫣😂😂
We stay here frequently and its such a nice hotel!
Lovely rooms, great location, friendly staff and great prices.
Nothing
Breakfast was amazing, would have also loved some black pudding but overall it was still a lovely breakfast.
The room was standard, single bed but this was expected, you get what you pay for. The staff here were the highlight. Shout out to Liam N, Jamie, Amelia, Jayke, Ben and Noah. Service was amazing and the shows and club nearby made great entertainment.
The television in my room was struggling for reception, however, I didn’t come to Brighton to sit in a box room so it doesn’t matter. There is nothing else I could say I disliked; overall I got what I paid for.
The hotel has nice , well appointed rooms but suffers from noise from the bar entertainment area on the ground floor . The music is still going at nearly 3am and is deafening in my room . Sleep is imposssible on a Saturday /.Sunday morning .
Great location and a great late bar.
Rooms quite compact
Great hotel, brilliant location would recommend and will be back
Centrally located, the hotel having car permits, the bar, club and hotel at the same place
Bedroom was too small, lot of dust in the bathroom and on the carpet in the bedroom
Small double bed, very uncomfortable (bad back pain)
Breakfast was misleading and not value for money (advertised for continental followed by cooked but we only had the cooked option, coffee was not good)
Nice clean hotel rooms good price for location there is a night club in basement and a bar on the ground floor good fun hotel to stay .
Hotel was good but parking in Brighton quite expensive it's around £42 for 24 hours
