Not family friendly.
Pros:

Location is good.

Cons:

We were disappointed with the room allocation options. As a family of four, we wanted to book the room with the jacuzzi, which is significantly larger and has more space. However, we were told that an extra bed could not be added, despite the room appearing more than capable of accommodating it.

Instead, we were advised to book two separate rooms to accommodate four guests, which is not a practical solution for a family with young children. It is unreasonable to expect parents to be separated from their children overnight. What makes this even more confusing is that the standard double room, which already accommodates four people with two beds, is considerably smaller than the jacuzzi room.

We would have gladly paid for an extra bed in the larger room and feel that a more family-friendly and flexible approach could have been offered.

Pros:

Staff molto cortese e professionale. Struttura curata ed estremamente pulita. Colazione molto varia e di ottima qualità.

Cons:

L'unica nota leggermente stonata il costo di 30 euro per il parcheggio della moto. Onestamente un po' eccessivo.

Ho scelto questo hotel perché aveva il parcheggio auto. Quando siamo arrivati il parcheggio non ci è stato dato perché ci hanno detto che avrei dovuto prenotarlo a parte e pagarlo, cosa che non era scritta da nessuna parte.

A couple of days right before our stay, I've been sent a message from The Ambassador Hotel in which I was informed that I'm going to be placed at another hotel (Hotel Gallia Palace) without asking for a permission from me or having a refund option in case this is inconvenient for me. The other hotel, both the Gallia Palace and Ambassador Hotel reception staff mocked our request to relocate us back at Ambassador Hotel or at least get a refund, because the conditions that I paid for weren't the same as the one we were offered at Gallia Palace. Even though I insisted in talking to the manager, the reception staff lied that they don't have an answer yet so we had no other choice but to stay at the Hotel where they relocated us to, Gallia Palace. It was an old, dirty hotel and lacking facilities.

Pros:

Relaxing and quiet. Parking was nice and definitely worth the extra charge. Jacuzzi was a great touch for a lazy hotel day especially after a day of being out.

Cons:

The controls on the AC were not straight forward and you couldn't control the temp that I was able to figure out. The toilet and bidet were very high I'm almost 6 foot and I couldn't touch the floor.
