Hotel, który miał zapewnić odpoczynek, zapewnił nam stres, dodatkowe koszty i stratę czasu

Niestety nasz pobyt w Hotel Ambassador zamiast odpoczynku przyniósł nam przede wszystkim stres, dodatkowe koszty i ogromną stratę czasu.

Podróżowaliśmy przez Włochy na dwóch rowerach, które były naszym podstawowym środkiem transportu i na których przewoziliśmy cały bagaż. Po dokonaniu rezerwacji napisaliśmy do hotelu z informacją, że przyjedziemy na dwóch rowerach i poprosiliśmy o przygotowanie miejsca do ich przechowania.

Wtedy otrzymaliśmy odpowiedź, że hotel nie posiada przechowalni rowerowej, a rowerów nie wolno pozostawić ani wewnątrz hotelu, ani na parkingu, ani nawet w ogrodzie. Jako rozwiązanie zaproponowano nam pozostawienie rowerów na zewnątrz obiektu, całkowicie na własne ryzyko, z sugestią użycia mocnego zapięcia.

Problem polegał na tym, że rezerwacja była już wtedy dokonana i była bezzwrotna. W informacjach, które sprawdzaliśmy przy dokonywaniu rezerwacji, nie znaleźliśmy takiego zakazu dotyczącego rowerów. Gdybyśmy wcześniej wiedzieli, że na terenie całego obiektu nie ma możliwości bezpiecznego pozostawienia roweru, po prostu wybralibyśmy inny hotel.

Od razu wyjaśniliśmy obsłudze, że jesteśmy w trakcie podróży rowerowej przez Włochy i pozostawienie naszych rowerów wraz ze sprzętem na ulicy na własne ryzyko absolutnie nie wchodzi w grę. Poprosiliśmy więc o anulowanie rezerwacji i zwrot pieniędzy. Skontaktowaliśmy się również telefonicznie z Booking.com. Otrzymaliśmy informację, że zwrot byłby możliwy za zgodą hotelu. Hotel jednak na zwrot się nie zgodził.

W efekcie znaleźliśmy się w absurdalnej sytuacji - albo tracimy pieniądze zapłacone za nocleg, albo sami organizujemy bezpieczne miejsce dla rowerów kilka kilometrów od hotelu.

Ostatecznie musieliśmy znaleźć zewnętrzną przechowalnię przy dworcu w Rimini, około 3 km od hotelu. Za przechowanie dwóch rowerów zapłaciliśmy 5,94 EUR. Ponieważ rowery znajdowały się tak daleko, musieliśmy dodatkowo korzystać z komunikacji miejskiej, co kosztowało nas kolejne 4 EUR.
