No soap in the bathroom, most hotels have basic washing needs in the bathroom, and a more
Upscale hotel for sure…. Also the cleaning people knocked on our door 10min before checkout….. at
Least wait until checkout before knocking and then we were just grabbing our stuff to leave 10min after check out and they knocked again, never had the cleaning people be so persistent with that close

Only thing was the hot tub was cold when we checked in! It took 3 hours to heat before we could use it! That was a bummer! The robes were gross and used but I called and they fixed it right away! So over all good! Everyone has bad days or trying to rush so I understand! I stay here a lot and this was the fist time this has ever happened!

To start with, the hotel is ran down and sketchy at night. The Starfish (where you have to check in and ask for towels and such) looks to be very nice. Beachfront, not so much. Our room was #201. Down a short flight of stairs, long walkway, and then down another huge flight of stairs. You definitely don’t just randomly run back to your room throughout the day to use the bathroom or take a quick break. The last stairs aren’t covered, so they’re constantly wet and slick. There was a large puddle of water directly in front of our door the entire stay. I’ve seen where management responds and says that the amount of stairs is stated during booking of room. Nope. I’ve looked many times.
The very first night, the fireplace stopped working. No big deal, right? No, it’s the only source of heat. It was 61° in the room. So, we got in our car and drove to the front desk next door. They sent a maintenance man over. He fixed it. It went out in the middle of the night again. We left really early that morning and contacted the front desk again when we got back that evening. This time they sent the maintenance man again, a small heater fan, and said that they’d call us the next day and try to get us in a new room. The heater fan didn’t do much. The whole reason that we booked a room at this place was because of the hot tub on the balcony. We only used it once because the room was so cold, so it was absolutely miserable coming into an ice cold room from being in the hot tub. Same with showering. It was miserable drying off and getting dressed.
We stayed for four nights (almost $1200). If we wanted clean towels, we had to go next door and request them. We were going to leave our trash out, but there were random cats running around, so we just had to pile it up in our room. Gross.
We never saw anyone from housekeeping, but we also left first thing in the morning and didn’t return until late because it was so miserable in our room. We never heard from anyone throughout our stay.

We look forward to staying after the remodel - our fireplace didn’t work (they told us this at check in and I’m not sure if I was actually charged the discounted price they promised).

the keys did not work at all and had to get the manager to open our door for us. it was very inconvenient.

Wasn't thrilled with not having any air in the room didn't feel comfortable leaving the window open, the small area to sit and do your business and The Limited size of the shower as far as movement goes.
