The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. The staff was very nice and personable. The continental breakfast was a perfect start to our day. Would definitely return if I stayed in Carmel by the sea.

I loved the lovely flowers everywhere. It was clean and inviting. Good location. Had a pool.

Cons:

Limited and inconsistent breakfast. Some days they had yogurt, some days not. Etc.
Quirky elevator and stairs layout. Couldn’t use the stairs to get from 1st to fifth floor. Had to hop on the elevator in between.

Great hotel in cute town

The room was great. The staff was really helpful and provided a lot of restaurant suggestions.

Cons:

The fact the hotel has parking included is great because the city does get crowded, particularly around dinner time. I would, however, suggest the staff checks the parking lot at various times throughout the day. We arrived from a day out to find no available spots and had to find street parking for a few hours.

This one is minor but we had not requested room service and had our room cleaned. No "do not disturb" sign was available. Of course we appreciate a clean room, but perhaps provide a "do not disturb" sign so as to not have any confusion as it pertains to guest preferences.
