I’ve waited long enough for a response from Rita and management. My nightmare stay started with waking up after the first night to almost 20 bites on my leg and a cluster on my hand. Contrary to what management said, I know they aren’t mosquitoes because I’m allergic and would swell up with bullous blisters if they were. They also don’t bite in clusters. They moved us to a new room but my husband left the family’s swimsuits in the first room and nobody told us for the remaining two nights and three days that our stuff was still in the first room. When we got back home and the kids had no swimsuit for their swimming lesson, I called the hotel. I received many promises of someone getting back to me, but zero apology and no explanation. I would’ve sent you a shipping label to just mail our stuff back. Instead, you act like there is no internal control and that you can’t get an answer from housekeeping. That’s BS. And I’ve worked with corporate internal controls. Stay here if you want to get feasted on by bugs and have your stuff taken by hotel staff.
Pleasant staff. Room adequate, it is in a great location. As much as I recognise deals are made with local business - discount card, this is nice. Would be good to extend to a wider variety. The location was great ideal for easy access to all major attractions and I liked how we could walk around the amenities in the evening without driving, and have a wine or two! Breakfast was good and the staff were efficient. One young server was particularly adept in keeping the dining room clean and tidy. Food well presented and stocked, plenty to go around.
The bathroom too cramped, small, and the sink was in the room!!
The view from the balcony was of the main road - I would rather have had a view over the hills.
I don't agree with payment for parking - everyone going here has a car for transport - this should be part of the service provided by the hotel. Also it is better to see the actual final sum when you are booking - NOT all the add ons when you are settling the bill. There should be water provided in the room this would have been good. Most big hotel chains do this.
The amenities, pools, steam room, location.
The cost of parking $75 a day.
View was awesome
The location was good
Checkin person didn’t give the key even if it is 4pm. Have to ge5 back in line to get key to the room
Good location right in middle of town, great red rock views, hotel has Mediterranean vibe pools are nice, rooms are small and dated, breakfast was okay coffee was terrible
Great location and view from the Balcony. That is, until..... a massive wave of sewer gas drifted up. Mentioned it to the manager and got the impression that it was not uncommon. Rooms were tired as well. For what we paid, I wish we would have stayed elsewhere.
Centrally located , rooms and balconies wonderful with the scenery. Staff Nicholas & Jen were the best, helpful, efficient & knowledgeable, awesome desk service. Best morning buffet I’ve had yet. Lovely property & staff
Beautiful
Our flight was in Phoenix was delayed by two hours so had an extended noon checkout, (Asked for 1pm but they wanted $50.00) set up at the front desk the day before, 15 min after 11am front desk called asking why we hadn't left yet, then realized we had the late checkout, not 5 minutes later the Housekeeping supervisor knocked on the door once, as I went to open door he tried to barge in as my wife was getting out of the shower, (thankfully we had the extra lock on) when he was told we had a noon checkout, proceeds to say "Oh", never apologized and looked annoyed, as I was bringing bags to car I saw him and told him how inappropriate that incident was and he looks at me and said he was just doing his job, and once again never apologized, considering how the property and rooms are showing their age and how they nickel and dime everything, 25.00 a day for parking and very spotty internet, We will never be back and will be thinking twice about using Best Western properties in the future...
Great
We had a fantastic time here - the hotel shares facilities with the adjacent resort, so be sure to allocate some time to enjoy all the facilities since you’re paying for that (2 pools, hot tub, sauna, steam room, game room etc)! You can also walk down to the creek and lounge Creekside. Walk to all the shops and restaurants in town. You can unload in front of the lobby, then there is lots of parking downhill (there’s an additional parking fee). The staff were fantastic, very friendly and attentive to us. Rooms were good; views were great (choose a red rock view). The breakfast head chef also made sure my friend, who is gluten-free, was taken care of. He was clearly aware of different dietary preferences because he even offered to separate out the meat in the buffet line. Great service. Best Best Western I’ve stayed at.
The location and view.
Toe nails on the carpet by the bed head board, room smell like dog urine, outdated and small room. Bathhroom Door door rotting at the bottom
Little to no engagement from staff.
We loved the view from our balcony. Janice and Nicholas at the front desk were absolutely wonderful! Smiles, knowledge and eager to help. I will go back to this establishment because of them!
🤗🤗
Location if you want to be in the bush area of Sedona, however I’ve found it very busy . The gentlemen who served the breakfast tried to be helpful, as there were no vegan options. I’ve asked for a vegan option the afternoon before as I checked in, but the hotel didn’t prepare anything extra for that even though breakfast should be included.
Sauna was only warm . Jacuzzi wasn’t bubbling and water just warm. My room wasn’t very clean.
A very expensive disappointment
