Gute Ausgangslage für Ausflüge nach Santa Cruz und andere kleine Ortschaften und Nationalparks.
Monterey ist auch einen Ausflug Wert. Schöne Strände in der Umgebung.
viel zu kleiner Frühstücksraum, immer überfüllt und keiner ist hinterher mit nachlegen und den Müll zwischen durch einmal zu leeren.
Our stay was very disappointing. The property was not as described, and the room did not resemble the advertised ocean view. Upon arrival, the room was noticeably dirty, and it appeared that the floors had not been properly mopped or cleaned in quite some time.
To make matters worse, there was constant noise from the room above us, with someone pacing the floors throughout the night, making it nearly impossible to get a good night’s sleep.
Overall, this stay did not meet our expectations, and we were very disappointed with the cleanliness, accuracy of the listing, and overall experience.
Location
Not clean! Window seals and walls. Super outdated electrical outlet not working , non working lamps. We had a roof ticking sound that lasted all night not sure if it was plumbing problem but didn’t sleep at all! Horrible

TV selection wasn’t good.
The complimentary breakfast and front desk staff were two things I like about the stay at Best Western Marina State Beach.
The bathroom was too small to even go in and out of it. The room was smaller than the square footage advertised. the lighting was dark, and the shampoo or soap or conditioner were empty from the start.
Overall, the hotel and my room looked worn and dated, with awful decor. At night or in the morning, it took about 6-8 minutes for the hot water to come out in the shower. The beds were too soft, and the pillows were very lumpy and uncomfortable. The TV was not user-friendly, and I had difficulty with the remote. The room clock was falling apart, and I had to move it so that it was plugged in. The breakfast was sparse, with limited options and quantities. There is very limited parking, which made coming back at night difficult.
The front desk person was very nice.
The property is in poor condition. They attempted a remodel but it was not done well. The floors were sticky, there was hair on the bathroom floor, the rooms are dark and the lighting is awful.

Our room was big but we had a king and pillows were not square and small king pillows would had great walk in shower was what we needed we are seniors
The location was walkable to Marina State Beach. Really easy on and off the highway, and easy to locate. Coffee was good and breakfast was adequate.
It was painted gray inside, and the floors were gray, so with the gray weather everything was a bit depressing, on the upside it was fresh paint! I love the fog at the beach, but….) Also, our microwave turned on but didn’t actually work. I meant to let the staff know but ran out of time to do so. When we arrived two staff were solving an issue a departing guest had. That guest wasn’t actually present, but the two employees chatted for at least 2 minutes before either acknowledged our presence. I didn’t expect them to drop everything, but it would have been courteous to say “We will be right with you”.
Nothing - our room was under construction. Wires hanging from the ceiling . The co2 monitor up on luggage rack, no outlets worked . Microwave broken . Water from the refrigerator on the floor .

It was close to the beach.
Very worn down. Our room was dirty. Breakfast was okay. Everything looked dirty for the money we paid I don’t think it was worth it.
