It was a motel that had been upgraded, but it was still a motel. No place right outside our room to sit and enjoy the river. Had one chair beside the door on the walkway overlooking the river. Should have had at least two so two people could sit outside together

Cozy stay in the quiet town of Gardiner, Montana with close access to north entrance of Yellowstone National Park!
Pros:

The hotel is surrounded by mountains and the Yellowstone River. Desk staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The property is well-kept, has a fire pit for hanging out and making s’mores, a game room and swimming pool. The rooms are clean and beds comfy. I would stay here again!

Cons:

I wish breakfast was included with the stay.
