Perfect. The location and the staff were superb. The pool amazing and even the game room was pretty good
Nothing it was perfect
We stayed with our grandson for 2 nights at the north entrance of Yellowstone. He has stayed at the finest hotels in the US and Europe, but said he enjoyed this Gardner motel more. The ladies at the desk made us all feel welcomed and informed. They provided the ingredients for s'mores at the fire pit, they offer free, clean washers and dryers…..indoor pool is a welcome relief after a day in the park, as is the outdoor hot tub. Service with a smile.
החדר היה נןח. סוף סוף שלחן ושני כסאות.
הצוות נשא עבורינו את המזוודות לקומה השניה
המיקום ביציאה מילוסטון היה נוח
החדר היה נקי ומסודר
Location, beautiful scenery of the mountains and river, plenty of parking, complimentary coffee.
Rooms were basic, walls were thin.
Comfortable Beds, bedding & towels, great views, easy check in and out, great pool, hot tub and game room.
This location of fabulous for visiting Yellowstone it is minutes from the entrance to Mammoth hot springs, activities everywhere.
Right on the yellowstone river. I highly recommend. No free breakfast but they have coffee & tea 24 hrs, a fire pit , bicycles too. A good on-site restaurant.
No free breakfast
Staff was super helpful, and nice. The view out the windows was great. Being able to open the windows hear the river made for a peaceful night's sleep.
Perfect window view of the mountains and river
Amazing view.
Way overpriced for what you get. This is more like a motel, not a hotel. You’ll hear every single noise all night long (cars alarms, people yelling, neighbors from all sides, top neighbor using the toilets, taking a shower). Very outdated room.
Creek side views were wonderful as were the evening fire pits so cosy. The hotel itself is dated . The rooms are ok but I would say need a deep clean they were dusty and the carpets need replacing. The shower head was crusty and leaking it needed replacing. There is no restaurant attached but they own an adjacent restaurant which serves breakfast. We didn’t try it as the evening before we went into the adjoining bar and the waitress was extremely rude. Staff in the hotel were helpful and friendly . The pool and hot tub looked inviting but we didn’t have time to use it
The views are exceptional, Bed was comfortable, the restaurant on site had a great breakfast (not included) free coffee in the lobby though.
Location is great and the staff were nice.
Hotel was quite outdated. For a premium price you should get quality everything. To gouge people because of location and not use the money to update facilities is totally American like. This probably goes to all the Gardiner hotels.
The bonfire, the s’mores kit and the free coffee and tea
They don’t have an elevator available. If you have reduced mobility you need to let them know in advance so you can have the first floor rooms, otherwise, there’s no other way to get to the second floor than a huge set of stairs
Very nice stay after Yellowstone Park.
The price was ridiculous.
We (2 adults) completely enjoyed our stay in cabin 6. It was well designed and comfortable, though cleanliness and construction were not top priorities at this location. It certainly was clean enough for me but there were areas that could have been addressed: baseboards, window frames, a large stain on the rug. That being said, the bathroom and kitchen areas were fine. We did ask for a flat sheet to cover the couch, which I do in most hotels (including Hilton brand) but the couch springs were a bit shot too. The kitchen offered a hodgepodge of items, a variety of eating utensils, some well scratched teflon pans (I fully understand that it must be nearly impossible to maintain pans at this type of hotel) and a counter top ice maker! The microwave and fridge were spotless.
Appearance was paramount, while construction was adequate-certainly not a deal breaker but it made me smile when my non-carpenter husband announced, “It looks like I made these window moldings.” There was a nice bed frame with several outlets but none of them had power. We looked under the bedside table and there was a cord but no outlet in proximity to plug it in.
The porch and roof top deck were a delight. In fact, we spent most of our downtime utilizing these areas which also had great views. The common yard area in front of the cabins was well designed and nicely landscaped. The outside fire pit was lit in the evening and we relaxed in the Adirondack chairs around the fire while roasting marshmallows ( generous s’mores kits provided by hotel). During our stay, only one of the two fire pits was working properly. If the occupancy was greater that might be an issue if only one fire pit was functioning.
We did not utilize the indoor pool or the hot tub. I was impressed that they have a free laundry room for guests and supply detergent/dryer sheets although we didn’t utilize these perks.
A special shot out to Jeff who was always friendly, eager to make us feel welcomed and comfortable.

Clean hotel next to Casino Gardiner - quiet location - rather small rooms - breakfast not included - restaurant & casino adjacent to hotel - parking at room
Price could have included breakfast - was not that cheap- restaurant adjacent and across from hotel but center of Gardiner not so close -sink of bathroom in room
