Rooms were pleasant and comfortable. Great location and free parking.

Cons:

The pool and hot tub need to be resurfaced, my daughter and I were itchy after getting out, our suits were full of white paint chips from the disintegrating pool coating. Monterey accommodations are on the higher end but for $430 a night I would have spent a little more and went with a hotel I know is properly maintained.
Sound proofing is lacking, could hear guests in the room above us walking and clearly hear people talking in the hallway.
