Notre séjour dans cette hôtel était parfait à tout point de vue
Pros:

À notre arrivée nous avons été très étonné d’être surclassé, du coup notre chambre était bien plus grande que prévu. La décoration est faite avec goût. Le ptit déjeuner est complet et très bon. L’accueil du personnel est parfait et les p’tits mains dans l’ombre qui ont fait le ménage chaque jour dans notre chambre était nickel.

Cons:

Le manque de parking parait pénible mais au final il y a un à quelques pas et au tarif vraiment raisonnable.

Great location for la Rochelle and the surrounding area
Pros:

A very comfortable hotel, located near the end of one of the many arcaded streets in la Rochelle. The public rooms of the building are quite old, with much charm. Our room and bathroom were right up to date.
The breakfast was very good and the service from the waiter was first class. We also had a nice light supper one evening.
From le Champlain to the vieux port in la Rochelle is about a fifteen minute walk, but it will probably take you much longer as there is so much to see. You can wander round the old stone arcaded streets, the cathedral, the market and the Gothic town hall, all before you get to the very pretty, lively old harbour.
From la Rochelle you can easily visit Île de Ré to the west and lovely long sandy beaches to the south.

A good stay but I wished
Pros:

Lovely staff who tried to be helpful, nicely decorated suite.

Cons:

Too many issues in our room: a leaking sink and the water poured all over my toiletries. Blocked shower-head which is my bugbear and a very musty smell in our room that emanated from the carpets and possibly the curtains and worse still no fan in the separate toilet!
