It was certainly not enjoyable. Thankfully, I thought the bed was adequate.
Pros:

never had breakfast because we couldn't get ready because there was no hot water.

Cons:

We had no hair dryer and we had no phone. So we went to the reception counter and was given a hair dryer and a worker came to the room with a receiver for the phone but discovered that neither phone plug-in in the room worked. After spending a few hours in the evening with no electricity, which I assume was not a fault of the Inn, when we woke the next morning, we were without hot water. We were told that the plumber had to be called but way over an hour later we still had no hot water. We were eventually moved to another room but that room had no pictures although the nails and other things were still on the wall. I told you all this before. If you didn't like the rating I gave then, you certainly WILL NOT LIKE WHAT I WILL RATE THE EXPERIENCE AT IF YOU CONTACT ME ABOUT THIS AGAIN!!

Convenient Location, but uncomfortable and unclean room

The property is very conveniently located and easy to access.

Cons:

Bed was extremely uncomfortable and room was not throughly cleaned prior to my stay. My daughter found dog food on the floor near the bed.

⭐️ 1 Star — Extremely Disappointing Stay at the Heritage Inn

Our experience at the Heritage Inn was extremely disappointing, and unfortunately, we will never stay here again.

When we arrived, we were told our room wasn’t ready. We were a little early for check-in, so we understood and were told to wait about 20 minutes and come back. After waiting, we were told the room still wasn’t ready. We were also told that the front desk phone wasn’t working, so they couldn’t call us to let us know when our room became available.

We waited for over an hour, and during that time, we watched the front desk check in multiple other guests, including people without reservations. At no point did anyone come find us or let us know what was happening. I eventually had to go back to the desk myself to ask whether our room was ready.

What made this even more frustrating was that we were then told they don't reserve specific rooms based on being directly by the pool. We had been under the impression that we were getting a room with convenient pool access. The employee explained that there was an upstairs room where you could walk out and go down stairs to the pool. I asked why we had been left waiting for over an hour if rooms like that were apparently available. We also saw a couple who arrived without a reservation get a room next to ours that appeared to be the same type of room.

Then we discovered the biggest problem: the air conditioning didn't work.

It was 102°F outside, our room had no window that could be opened, and there was no working A/C. When I called the front desk, I was told that the hotel's air conditioning had already been down for two days. We were given a fan.

If the hotel knew the A/C had been out for two days, guests with reservations should have been contacted ahead of time and given the option to keep their reservation or cancel and make other arrangements.
