I do recommend staying but choosing either smoking or non-smoking doesn't make a difference.
Pros:

I liked that the location was nearby where my place of work was. No noisy neighbors which was a plus.

Cons:

What I didn't like was that even though room was non-smoking, there was a strong smell of smoke inside.
