B&B HOTEL Chartres Centre Cathédrale

The foyer is less than welcoming. But, at the end, you find a pleasant terrace right on the banks of the river Eure.
We had to ask for a map of the city, which was provided some time later. We were assigned a room with a connecting door to the neighboring room, which could not be locked from our side. Upon complaining we were, without problems, given another room. Room service had already done the new room, but there was still a used towel in the bath room. Rooms are very small. The walls were painted in rather sombre colors and the design of the flooring a whirling monstrosity. Breakfast was okay, but the music was annoying. On the positive side, we had a view of the cathedral from our room and got there by foot in 13 minutes. Not much noise from within and we could sleep undisturbed with open window.
It is reassuring to park the car in the safe hotel parking deck, for a small extra payment.
Overall, we would likely come again.

Very well presented for a budget hotel. Great, low cost breakfast selection and so close to the wonderful old town.

Very basic hotel with poor breakfast

Convenient location for a short stay. Room was clean and front desk staff were helpful. Hotel is no frills, the breakfast was below average compared to similarly priced hotels I stayed at on my trip.

Have stayed before and it is good value close to Cathedral and good restaurants
Le Serpemte opposite the Cathedral is exceptional and friendly and very good value

We didn’t know what to expect but it was a clean hotel with friendly staff. For the price you just can’t beat wheat you get here! Highly recommend!

WiFi is nonexistent in our room. Bedside light not working. Other than that it’s good. We’ve stayed here many times and generally have no issues with it. Location is great.

The room was nice, we found that the shower was not working even though there was water in the sink and the toilet, they fixed it while we were out for dinner. The breakfast was very nice.

Comfortable room and very good breakfast buffet. Walking distance from the centre of town through the impressive Parc de la Memoire.

Was a well placed hotel on the outskirts of the old part of Chartres. Room was clean and well appointed. Bathroom clean. Easy to walk (uphill) into town where there are plenty of places to eat. Car park could be better signposted but plenty of space.

It was conveniently located close to Chartres Cathedral and had onsite parking.

I've stayed here several times and it doesn't disappoint. Excellent choice for a budget hotel. Breakfast is very good too.

Very uncomfortable beds. There was construction all day when we arrived. No mention of it in hotel description. When you come in from an all night flight from Canada you don't want to hear sledgehammers all day. Staff said they would atop at 4pm. They were still going at it at 6h40pm...cancelled the next two nights and moved to a much better Hotel.
