Great room, lovely friendly staff, marvellous location.
Pros:

We requested a quiet room as our previously stayed was very difficult to sleep due to dogs barking and general traffic noise but the lovely lady on the front desk heard our plite and made sure our request was granted. We had a wonderful room and a great night sleep this time thanks to the lovely lady on the front desk.

Cons:

There was nothing to dislike this time.

If you're looking for a convenient place to stay near these popular destinations, this hotel is definitely worth considering. Highly recommended!

Cons:

Our room was tucked away in an inner area of the hotel, far from the main hallway or entrance. Also, the check-in process took quite a while because there were so many guests checking in. Hopefully, the hotel can improve its check-in process to make it faster and more convenient for guests.

Pros:

Service was great, staff are friendly. Breakfast was good value. The beds were comfy and the A/C works well. We had a good night's sleep in the room. Rooms are well appointed, albeit a bit old. It could use some refreshing.

Cons:

The shower in the room leaks over to the toilet area, resulting to pooling of water around the sink and toilet. Reported this to housekeeping upon checkout and hopefully they repair it for the next guest.

The Golden Phonix very warm and friendly.
Pros:

The staff were very helpful and polite, friendly. The room was very big and comfortable. The room was located in a quiet part of the hotel so we slept very well.

Cons:

There was nothing to dislike. Everything was good 👍
