Not a very relaxing stay. With a noisy room above the gym!!
Pros:

Location. Nice bar area.

Lovely building but overall disappointing for the money we spent for the stay
Pros:

Very nice building and setting on nice grounds, breakfast was good and made fresh. Staff were all extremely pleasant and good service and catering to needs.

Cons:

Upon checking in, we were advised no availability for any treatment or spa service, no room in the restaurant for dinner neither for same day. Strange as it seemed like this should be an option rather then not. We had to source alternative treatment in Rye town centre

Good quality country house hotel whose rooms could do with a good cool-off
Pros:

We enjoyed the country house feel of Flackley Ash, and the staff were friendly and attentive. It was great to get a free upgrade to a superior double. There's also ample parking.

Cons:

The only negative aspect was that the room was nearly always too hot, even with the radiator turned off. With the radiator on, it was stiflingly hot, and the windows can only be opened part way for security reasons. In view of how good everything else was, this was disappointing.

Lovely relaxing stay in a beautiful room, great staff and overall a lovely weekend.
Pros:

Beautiful, clean, comfortable room. Lovely staff. Great food, both dinner and breakfast. Good location.

Cons:

There was a party taking place and the music was very loud and kept us awake for some time. We understand it was a party and therefore music is appropriate but bearing in mind we were at the far end of the hotel away from it, the music was incredibly loud. We can’t imagine how those rooms closer to it would be happy either.

Nice quiet location with Spa facilities
Pros:

Lovely setting and nice to have an on site Spa

Cons:

Bed was very tired, needed a new mattress. Shower was furred up and weak not really acceptable. Also the light above the bathroom sink was not working. Room was nice and large but a bit tired looking!
Breakfast was expensive!!!
