Staff were fantastic
Have stayed in other hotels with better facilities for the same price
Room was very comfortable and roomy, bath and shower very adequate. Complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits was a nice touch.
The room didn't have a socket by the bed and there were some areas of decorating which needed a little touch up in particular in the bathroom.
Charging £17.99 a night for my dog is a bit excessive.
Clean comfortable room, nice dining and reception area..great staff ,lovely location.
Being older no grip handle to support getting in and out of the shower/ bath...an accident waiting to happen. Unable to safely use that facility, had to wash around the sink..not impressed and I,m sure I,m not the only one.
The staff are excellent and room was exactly what we wanted
Breakfast and the overall ambiance was superb to relax for the weekend and will make this a regular getaway to relax and use the facilities next time as my wife and I recognised that we had stayed here before about 13 years ago and we still cannot believe it is only a 3* it pits many 5* hotels we have stayed in to shame !!!!
Others please take note how to run a hotel as this is the benchmark and standards are too drawer
Thanks again 🙏
Look forward to next time

Nothing
The staff was lovely and food was great.
The rooms are quite old, especially the carpet in the rooms and the hot water tap in the bathroom sink did not work.
Staff delightful and friendly, relaxing lobby area, good quiet location with nice grounds. Evening dinner extremely good menu and very good quality. Nice upgrade to larger room.
"Spa" is being generous. Pool and jacuzzi area, dark messy, cramped and in dire need of a makeover. Jacuzzi extremely poor condition, No music or suitable seating area. Saunas are poor quality and separated in male female toilets. Not a relaxing experience which was a shame it was the purpose of our stay...
Friendly staff, nice grounds. Food good but expensive.
Really basic spa facilities for the price. Never nice to walk past urinals to use the Sauna, pool was cold and only 4 chairs and 2 loungers to sit down on. No steam room either.
Atmosphere and cleanliness. Friendly staff. Quiet.
Lots of stairs.
Staff friendly, nice location, clean (apart from floor tile grout)
Rooms very tired, but clean, bed terrible hard, warn with terrible roll together and the feeling of springs. Spa shower pressure non existence and couldn’t get it warm, hot tub out of the 80s and very knackered.
Had dinner was very nice and they accommodated my food request with out any problem
Nothing…maybe pressure of shower
Was lovely and not too big. Just like a Manor House. Nice ambience and staff were lovely. The spa area was also a nice atmosphere. Intimate and cosy. Dogs were welcome and that was a bonus.
The only issue I would mention is the dog cost. I normally pay 10 per night at other places but Flackley charge £20. Just saying ……
Room was very spacious
Some parts of hotel were too warn. Better temperature control required.
Location
Have stayed at Flackley a number of times in 2025 & this was my first of 2026. Was disappointed with my room this stay. The previous two stays I had a much much more premium room. My room this time round was tired & lack lustre.
