Pros:

Mooi hotel, prima kamer, wij hadden een gallery room. Basis kamer. Eten was echt heerlijk. Broccoli soep en zalm teriyaki. 👌 Lekkere wijn en port met stukje kaas

Cons:

Jammer dat ze tijdens het ontbijt niet even kwamen vragen of het naar wens was, moesten echt opstaan en iemand erbij halen. Na ontbijt werd gevraagd of alles na wens was. Douche: je moet in het bad gaan staan, met douche gordijn. Vind ik persoonlijk beetje simpel voor dit hotel. Voegen bij badkamer tegels waren hier en daar wat versleten/geen voegsel.

Pros:

We enjoyed our stay
Pros:

It was quite, the staff were very friendly and the room was clean

Cons:

It wasn’t what I had booked , I booked a junior suite with a lounge area but instead I got a room with 3 single beds which wasn’t what I paid for . I would have thought you would get clean towels. daily but we didn’t . We had the same towels for both days

Lovely location for a short get away
Pros:

Staff were very welcoming, swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi was great. The food was fantastic with lots of options for everyone.

Cons:

Lack of plug sockets in the bedroom, inside door to the bedroom didn’t close very easily, slight mould on the ceiling in the bathroom. The mattress we slept on was a bit hard. We ordered shandy’s and every time they were different prices. Some staff did forget a couple of things that we asked for.

Had a fantastic stay
Pros:

Room was clean and a good size.
Staff very helpful and friendly.
Breakfast and dinner were fabulous.
Spa facilities were great, the treatments we had were lovely.

Pros:

Location was as expected.
Nice grounds and decor in keeping with the age of the property.

Cons:

The bathroom in one of our rooms was very old, broken tiles and not up to expectations. Very disappointed.
One of our breakfasts was not complete. However, when we mentioned it when paying, they apologised and refunded the cost of it.

a bit disappointing really, the view when you arrive is beautiful, the rooms didn't quite match that
Pros:

Great staff, nice size room, downstairs was airy with a lovely aspect.

Cons:

Shower over bath not working, had to bath to wash hair, decor dated and in need of a good paint. Toilet leaked and room was very warm-no.6. Mind your toes on the 'kerb' into the bathroom. Mattress uneven meaning I ended up in the middle both nights!
Noise from pipes- I'm guessing- woke us up at 7am both mornings and had stayed for a wedding close by so a lie in would have been good, and traffic noise in this room was noticeable.

A pleasant base for our visit to Rye but rather expensive. There were nice facilities but we didn’t have time to use the

Staff very pleasant. Nice touch to leave card for our anniversary.

Cons:

Four-poster bed was comfortable but too small.
Surrounding roads were narrow and unlit so difficult at night.
