I felt bad for wasting so much food when brought to my room. Though I appreciate all the croissants and extras. But should tell me before I order what all comes with it. Felt like there was so much I couldn’t eat because of all the lovely extras. Would have ordered less.

I chose this hotel solely based on other reviews so I was really hoping it would live up to the ratings and it definitely did! This is a lovely boutique hotel minutes from the Duomo. The location could not have been better for having a centrally located place! It was easy to walk to and from our hotel and go back if we forgot something or just needed a breather between sightseeing. The room was amazing! We had 4 of us so I booked a room with two queen beds (not easy to find in Europe!) and they upgraded us to a two bedroom suite with two bathrooms. This was such a nice surprise and perfect for our college-age kids to have their own space. I would highly recommend this room for families if you can swing it! Great bed, beautiful bathrooms, robes, slippers, great bath products, free snacks and drinks in mini fridge which they stocked daily (just remember to hang the sign on your door before you leave for the day that you want your room cleaned), great air conditioning, apertivo spread at 6pm in the bar/lounge. One of the highlights in addition to the beautiful room and amazing staff was definitely the incredible breakfast! A huge selection of delicious food and the most welcoming staff who brought me my cappuccino right away! The food was all delicious and even motivated our young adult daughters to wake up early enough to eat before our sightseeing tours started. We have since stayed at other hotels in different cities on our Italy trip and this was our nicest stay by far (plus Florence is so great)!

The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of the city, with most places within easy walking distance and enjoyable.
The staffs were exceptionally warm, kind, and welcoming. We could genuinely feel their sincere care and thoughtful attention throughout our stay. They were always happy to help and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable.
The hotel was also very clean, and the breakfast was excellent with a great selection.
We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Firenze.

Excellent! We love Hotel Spadai! This was our second stay, previously 8 years ago. It was amazing then and now! We had 2 rooms, both were extremely clean, bright, comfortable and modern. The staff is excellent, everyone we met was fantastic. The location is amazing - right beside the Duomo- it was so easy to get everywhere and back for breaks from the heat! We could walk in a loop in each direction using the hotel as the centre and come back to get refreshed & go out again, in the heatwave that was so helpful! The breakfast is 10/10 - fresh, homemade, delicious! So many choices! Aperitivo is wonderful in the evening with great drinks, snacks & atmosphere. The free minibar is amazing- drinks & snacks saved us so much between meals! I wish we stayed longer!
