Pleasant stay, however a few maintenance issues need attention.
Pros:

Good location. Staff were friendly.
It has a 24 hour check in desk, I arrived at 01:30 and concierge staff were available to greet me and check me in.

Cons:

The AC fan in the room was a little noisy, so a little hard to sleep at night. I asked them to come and have a look at it, but it did not improve the noise.
The safe in the room was faulty. They replaced it with another safe however the safe was not anchored to anything.

Very Very Disappointed
Pros:

The location is great, with a beautiful view facing the sea.

Cons:

We booked a room with one double bed, but when we arrived, we were given two single beds pushed together.

When I asked the reception staff about this, their response was extremely rude and unprofessional. They told us, “This is the only room available. If you want to stay, go and stay. This is the only option.”

The reception staff were not professional at all, and their attitude and behavior towards guests were very disappointing. Even if the hotel could not provide the requested room, they should have communicated politely and respectfully.

Beautiful ocean view from the room
Pros:

1.Ocean View from the room on 8th floor was the best in Colombo Hotels we have stayed.
2. Hotel staff friendly, helpful and efficient. Always with a smile.
3. Very clean room. Housekeeping staff maintain the cleanliness of the room daily.

Cons:

Sri Lankan food in the Breakfast spread was very limited for a Sri Lankan Hotel. Some days absolutely no Sri Lankan food. Wish we get a balance in the buffet spread to include atleast one Sri Lankan main meal on the buffet daily. It is always Parathas and Thosai which is disappointing. As a Sri Lankan Hotel we expect Sri Lankan dishes more on the buffet.

The Melanies from Seychelles
Pros:

Good breakfast and dinner, clean room, and the staff were very, very helpful. Very friendly, especially to my 4 year-old. They even go to the extreme of booking my taxi from hotel to airport, preparing packed breakfast at 1 a.m. Additionally, there was a guy at the reception ( I did not get his name, though) he was sooooo helpful. It was a pity I did not see him today before I left. Love them all and will definitely be back soon.
