Nice clean room with a wonderful view of Lake Superior from our private deck. Minor plumbing issues. Only got a trickle of water from the bathroom sink and the shower drain was very slow, so we ended up standing in an inch of water. Rooms have a kitchenette, so no breakfast is offered.

Pros:

We Liked our stay. The bed was comfortable, and things were clean. Front desk helpful with interactions. The bathroom door made so much noise it woke us up in the night while using the bathroom. The toilet paper holder kept coming off and landing on the floor which also made noise. these are small things in the general picture, but still leave a memory that is not perfect. we would come back if in the area again

Solbakken Resort is friendly staffed Resort right on Lake Superior! We stayed in one of the rooms facing the highway. Problem with that is that its very noisy. At night I was able to nudge my daughter from snoring but not the people snoring in the next room! The rooms were okay, they really need updating and the fridge door wouldn't stay closed. The lake was a short walk from the hotel room and we enjoyed sitting on the rocks near the water.

Very nice property. Wonderful location. Check-in was easy. Lady at desk very nice and helpful. My only complaint is that the bed in our room badly needs replaced.
