Pros:

The apartment was roomy for a one bedroom. Good kitchen. Comfortable bed. Nice balcony. Reception staff were excellent and helped me extend my stay. Location was very good for my needs. I liked exploring the neighborhood and finding local breweries. Being close to a IGA was convenient. Also being a short walk from the Storey bridge, the kangaroo point bridge and kangaroo point riverwalk was excellent.

Disappointing
Pros:

Apartment was spacious and beds were comfortable. Pool area and gardens were good. Security was good.

Cons:

Bathrooms had mould and soap scum, definitely ready for updating. Kitchen utensils were limited, old scratched coated saucepans, only two odd wine glasses provided for five people. There was previous tenants' ice cream left in freezer. Lamps, blinds were all dusty. Outdoor furniture was old and faded. Apartment was altogether a bit shabby.

Not happy at all!
Pros:

Liked the location and that we could get a 3 bedroom apartment.

Cons:

Didn’t like the lack of towels. 4 for 4 people for a 4 night stay for showering and swimming and the dryer was absolutely useless. Also didn’t like the glass crack pipe and bag of weed that our 3 yr old granddaughter found in the kitchen drawer?? Didn’t get to raise this with staff as we didn’t see any staff our whole stay. Would like to discuss this more as we didn’t pay your expensive prices to find drugs and drug paraphernalia in a kitchen drawer

Basic old fittings, needs a deep clean for whole apartment, noisy and foul.
Pros:

Kangaroo point is a scenic location generally on the Brisbane River.

Cons:

The place smells of a dank, awful pong. The room was very very basic and has not had any features maintained for decades. Dishwasher with foul smell and would not open well, microwave ancient, crockery has food residue on most items. Couch saggy and old. Bathroom - towel rail broke apart and shower recess old, grimy and disgusting. Air con yellow with age. Over every surface and blinds, a film of grease from decades of cooking. Outside, major construction includ8ing cranes, semi trailers and jack hammers occurring from 6:30am straight outside the apartment.

Apartment was large and comfortable

Cons:

Not very clean, no mould or anything like that but the floors weren’t swept, cupboards dirty inside and the windows had lots of marks and not cleaned. It was like an air bnb that hadn’t been cleaned.

Apart from mouldy bathroom we enjoyed our stay. Not close to cafe, shops etc.
Pros:

Spacious apartment with river view.
Good kitchen. Pool was great to cool off.
Reception staff very helpful.

Cons:

Bathroom shower had so much mould. Needs retiling or clove oil to kill mould. At least a bit of bleach. Some cups in cupboard had not been washed up, still had coffee stains. Could not access different floor with lift key thing.

Pros:

Very spacious unit, kitchen well equiped for a short term stay, free car parking. View at night of city lights very pretty - not in the day. Spacious main bedroom, all rooms air conditioned

Cons:

Minor things only - The kitchen could have been supplied with chux for wiping down benches as the bathrooms could have been supplied with tissues. No full length mirrors in any of the rooms For a 3 bedroom apartment to sleep 6 - only 4 dining chairs

Exceptional stay – truly felt like home
We stayed in this apartment in Brisbane for the last three nights, and I honestly cannot recommend it highly enough.
From the very beginning, the host was outstanding. She provided extremely clear and detailed instructions on how to access the building and collect the keys, including helpful videos showing exactly where to go and how to use the fob. Communication was excellent throughout — she was always available, responsive to messages and calls, and genuinely cared about our comfort during the stay.
The apartment itself was spotlessly clean, elegant, and beautifully decorated. It felt warm and welcoming, truly like a home away from home. Everything was so clean and tidy that I didn’t need to clean anything before using the space — including the bathrooms, carpets (even under the beds!), furniture, bedsheets, towels, and mattress. The bathrooms were immaculate.
The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need — dishwashing liquid, laundry powder, toilet paper, shampoos, hand wash, and more. Every detail had clearly been thought of. The beds were very comfortable, the carpets were soft and very clean, and the view was absolutely beautiful.
The location was perfect and very convenient. As a thoughtful touch, the host also left us a small welcome gift, which was such a kind and generous gesture and really made us feel appreciated.
She was polite, pleasant, and a joy to communicate with. It’s clear that she runs this as a business with great care and professionalism, and I truly hope her business continues to grow and succeed.
Thank you so much for such a comfortable, stress-free, and memorable stay. We were extremely happy and would absolutely stay here again. Highly, highly recommended! Sanar
