I’ve stayed here a few times now, but I think this will be my last time.

The rooms are dingy, the furniture is worn and stained. This place needs a complete overhaul and a good deep cleaning. The carpets are disgusting. There was garbage behind the desk under the tv.

Hotel seems old and tired, and in need of some upgrades.
Cons:

There was a bad smell in our room, like body odor. It was quite overpowering. Although the staff tried to help, there was not another room to move us to, and they apparently could not get the smell out, even with their cleaning staff. After 2 nights, we were able to move to a different room, which was much smaller. They only adjusted our bill by $20.

Pros:

The suite we stayed in has a shower room door that separates the shower area from the bathroom sink. This arrangement is the best design for a large group.

Klassisches gutes Hotel in St John`s
Pros:

Das Hotelpersonal war sehr freundlich, die Betten sehr bequem und das ganze Zimmer sauber. Es ist gut zu erreichen und ein guter Ausgangspunkt wenn man über die Insel fahren will, denn der Trans Canadian Highway ist einen Kilometer entfernt.

Cons:

Gemütlich klein aber wir waren nur zum schlafen dort daher kein Problem.

Our stay was a good start to our holiday!
Pros:

Breakfast was fine, it was nice to have a restaurant in the building. The food that we ate was terrific! The alcoholic beverages were excellent, especially the red sangria

Cons:

i cannot think of anything that I didn't like. The staff was friendly and helpful. Restaurant staff were excellent and very efficient!
