Friendly staff, full bar and restaurant. Room was very clean and smelled fresh. Bed was very comfortable. I transport fisherman up to the the different outfitters up that way from time to time. If its late in the evening or i have clients to pick-up in the morning, ill just stay the night. This is my first time at the balmer and i will definitely be stay again in the near future.

The place is stinky. I am not sure if the stink is from mould or not. I had no electricity in my room and few other rooms for a major portion of the evening and night. Staff did not care. The restaurant staff was unorofessional and did not know how to greet a customer.

Never mentioned about lake check in , flight was delayed pilot arrived at 2am no one was there, had an after hours number to call went straight to voicemail , pilot slept in his car

I’ve stayed here many times while in town for business. I prefer the annex rooms as it seems quieter at night. Maybe a bit more attention to cleaning in the corners and behind the desks and sofas is needed. But it is still a great place to stay. Good food too.

We were in the annex..the room was very well appointed...Room wasclean beds comfortable..
Because I have a knee that is problematic I found the footing when walking to and from the main building less than safe..i.e.gravel on the paved walkway strip..

They lost my reservation. The rooms were a little bit run down. It was obvious that the cleaning staff hadn't wiped down the bed side table because there were sticky rings from dirty glasses. And the bed was quite squeaky and uncomfortable.

Rooms are not what are shown on website. Noisy, can hear neighbors in hall, and beside you. Service was outstanding, friendly so the negative aspects of our stay are not the fault of the staff we encountered.
