Close to Zihuatanejo, yet a beautiful resort with a long, spectacular uncrowded beach!
Pros:

This is a lovely resort with beautiful rooms and the best waiters ever! We looked forward to being greeted by Jesus every morning for our full breakfast that was included in the room price. For lunch and dinner, there was also a favourite Caesar. These waiters learned our names the first meal and remembered them the five days we were there. They were so fun and friendly! They had very good English and helped us with our ‘pequeña’ Spanish, when we asked. Omar the Manager was really nice, easy going and welcoming.
The views and sunsets were spectacular! There are lots of beach lounge chairs that are usually available. They do sell day passes, however, and some days there were a lot of families in the pool and on the beach lounge chairs and tables.
There are also beach restaurants a short walk down the beach.
Playa Larga is a huge beach - wide and long. You can walk for hours and you still won’t reach Bara de Potosi, a great little town.

They didn’t follow through with our reservation! Our room needs repairs!
Pros:

We typically spends 10 days in Mexico for Thanksgiving. We started ant Zihuatanejo at our Pacifica timeshare and then finished our last night here. As you entered there’s two rooms located within this structure. Our room on the left was a horrible accommodation!!! The outlets in our bathroom didn’t work and the one light was broken. The room is very dark. They need to update this room. We paid for a king size bed and ended up with two queens.!! That isn’t acceptable given the price we paid to stay here!!!!!! Also, they had a steep corkage fee for us to bring our own wine. It was 500 pesos which is ridiculous since they only offer Mexico wine! We are from California therefore the management needs to rethink some of these issues brought up by our visit. On a side note, the dinner we had was delicious. However, I do feel they nickel and dime you on the drinks which are very weak.

Pros:

Extraordinary relaxing experience. Zen layout, bed and pillows make you dream like a baby. Beach just steps from the pool. Food is natural and healthy. Coconuts are a pleasure. Service is outstanding. What else can you ask for? Just an amazing weekend my wife and I just had.

Pros:

If you’re looking for that perfect blend of authenticity, comfort, and jaw-dropping natural beauty, Puerto Paraíso in Zihuatanejo is the spot. From the moment we arrived, the warm hospitality made us feel like family. The property is stunning — lush gardens, beautifully designed spaces, and views that make you stop and soak it all in.

Waking up to the sounds of the ocean and sipping coffee on the terrace overlooking the longest beach imaginable, absolute magic.

The staff were beyond kind and helpful — always ready with a great local tip or a delicious cocktail. Whether you want to relax by the pool, explore nearby beaches like Playa La Ropa or Playa Las Gatas, or enjoy fresh-caught seafood at a beachside palapa, Puerto Paraíso puts you right in the heart of it all.

Truly a hidden gem in Zihu’a — peaceful, authentic, and unforgettable. The road to get there might be deceiving but you’ll truly arrive “en un paraíso”, we can’t wait to come back.

Port of Paradise - Confirmee
Pros:

Absolutely the best place to spend the day. The staff is amazing, friendly, fun and will absolutely remember your name. The most relaxing day in Mexico we’ve ever had. We might come back and stay in the hotel. Food was amazing with unexpected depth in flavors. Full bar with knowledgeable bar keepers. The ocean does not disappoint. I spend all day, except for the 80 min massage, watching the waves break in the beach.

15 mins from ZIHUA, but worth the journey, for sure.
Pros:

The grounds; food; service; breeze; relaxation and accommodation were absolutely superb.
This makes other 5star boutique hotels look quite ordinary.
Thank you staff, for making our stay amongst the most memorable in my experience.

An example of a special highlight is to have a cocktail near to the pool, and bar under the palm trees, while listening, watching and feeling the most amazingly relaxed atmosphere in this location.
When last there, i saw the recovery of turtle eggs (92 in total), by the ecological department, for their release within a few weeks. In the background were about 6 tourists on horseback riding from Playa Larga to Playa Blanca to Barra di Potosi - and the eventual end of this amazing Playa area about 12 or 13 km in length.

Pure Barefoot Elegance in Playa Larga
Pros:

Best words to describe this hidden gem are "Barefoot Elegance" - come as you are and enjoy the serenity of Playa Larga at no where else but Puerta Paraíso Hotel Boutique.

I was blown away during my first stay here 🤯 - never have I felt like part of a family at a hotel until I arrived here. Omar and Jesus were attentive to all my needs and made extra time just to chat and get to know me which I really appreciated.

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed the coconut cutting station, bonfire, romantic candlelit dinner, and live music. By far a must stay for anyone new to the area looking for something safe, relaxing, and comfortable.

Delightful, quiet resort on Playa Larga
Pros:

What a delightful resort in Playa Larga—lovely stonework in the room and pool, beachfront spa services available, and attentive staff make this a wonderful resort. My stay was very peaceful. They offered good Wi-Fi. I found the food and drink prices a bit high. I think this place would be best suited to people with a car. It would be a good place for a small wedding or reunion group.

A beautiful trip, including the drive there.
Pros:

Only for lunch, but the setting; the grounds of the hotel/restaurant and the food and service were ALL very special. One day, I hope to go there as an overnight guest also - the rooms/casittas look splendid.
The pool, lounge area, and other facilities are all top notch.

Thank you Omar and team!
Pros:

This boutique hotel is a slice of paradise. The food, drinks and service are all exceptional. We stayed here for one week for a wedding on property and could not have been happier with the value. OMAR and his team treated us like family from the moment we arrived to the the day we left. Would definitely stay here again if we are back in the area. Special thanks to Jesus, Cristino, Ruben and Andreas. 10/10 experience!

Wunderbares, ruhiges Hotel !!!
Pros:

Wir waren für 3 Nächte dort, die einzigen Gäste!!! Da es nicht am Hauptstrand Zihuatanejo liegt ist es wohl recht unbekannt!! Sehr freundliches Personal und schöne Anlage!!
