Pros:

Very nice beachfront hotel, we extremely kind staff. Sampath at the reception was super nice. SPA massages also great. Good relaxing days after business trip to Colombo

De kamer was schoon en prima

Cons:

Balie personeel opent zelf booking en opent de beoordeling pagina en zegt dan dat alleen een 10 genoeg is. Je ‘moet’ zelfs laten zien dat het gelukt is en dan ‘mag je gaan’. Nog nooit meegemaakt. Het is geen 4 maar doordat we 2 losse nachten hebben geboekt en de eerste 10 geforceerd werd, deze compensatie. Het hotel is best gedateerd. Voor sri lanka prima, maar een 5* met 9,3 is het dus niet.

Pros:

I had a very unpleasant and disappointing experience upon entering the hotel. To my surprise, the hotel staff proceeded to inspect both my luggage and hand luggage. I have travelled extensively and stayed at numerous hotels around the world, but I have never encountered such a situation before.

I was not informed in advance that such security checks would be conducted. The entire process was extremely uncomfortable and embarrassing, and I found the manner in which it was handled unacceptable.

While I fully understand the importance of maintaining security, I strongly believe that guests should be treated with dignity, respect, and professionalism. Such procedures should be communicated clearly and carried out in a manner that does not compromise the comfort or privacy of hotel guests.

This experience has left me extremely disappointed with the hotel’s standard of hospitality.

Beautiful surroundings, friendly staff, clean rooms, and a lovely swimming pool. The food was also great.

There are some good elements and the staff are definitely trying hard but I wouldn’t stay here again.
Pros:

The hotel has a great view and location. The pool is lovely and clean. The rooms are large and comfortable. Excellent large gym with great equipment.

Cons:

The service feels way too formal and rigid. The restaurant food was not good. Casual dining around the pool or outside would be much nicer than the freezing cold, formal tiled dining room. There is no pool service for meals or snacks. The security staff around the pool made it feel very uncomfortable. The bed was like concrete.

We loved our stay here. Beautiful rooms and hotel in general. Really enjoyed the pool, the restaurant and we got a good price due to offseason so it really was exceptional
